If it's a "Texecom" box one solid light indicates a fault. It may not be a Texecom one, however possibly a good idea to have your system checked over if it hasn't been done.1 point

Some have flashing lights some dont it depends on the make, so long as there are no fault messages on your keypad nothing to worry about. I would recommend that you look into a service contract in any case though.-1 points
