Thanks for letting me know, but any way I wasn't looking for any answer here. Not sure if it's ok to reply to posts with unrelated messages but I will slow my self this time. I'm just very new in this forum and still trying to catch up with the local culture.
GDPR is different from the DPA, GDPR was added to "complement" the latest version of the DPA.
I tell the guy that ran the GDPR course I attended, Al reckons he's talking balls then.
Understanding how something works helps a lot when fault finding, or even getting the end user to use something as it was designed. However, when it comes to card formats for the average installer knowing the difference between 125khz and 13.56KHz is probably enough info unless you want to write your own cards and fobs.
id say the 'average' doesnt go that deep. If installing product from the same manufacturer etc then it will work as the testing etc has already been done. Where the good guys do well is knowing how to make x work with y. However most customers dont check on ability or dare I say care.
Hi all,
Just question regarding training for our junior/trainee engineer.
I want to produce a test sheet to see how much they've learnt and if further training is required, we cover most disciplines in the security industry plus gates and barriers.
Would anyone have a template I could work from?
To save me starting from scratch.
Thanks
Phil
backup left on site is one option, but its like sage, word etc its up to the client to backup unless they are paying for a managed backup solution off site etc. Also should the backup be encrypted if your taking it and its found inside the pc etc
Sorry for the extremely slow reply. I forgot I asked this question.
I found out what what the problem was. The cameras Profile wasn’t set to administrator so it would not let the Bosch Dvr connect even though it could see it.
