Hopefully, you're not powering up without a keypad. If you do that, then you cannot use the correct process to power down (menu 51.17-power off) and wait until the keypad shows 'Safe to power off'.
With Flex, if you just pull the power, you have a small chance that you will corrupt the flash filesystem, leaving the panel bricked.
act ?
Me? I told you who to mend your alarm for nowt
Battery, fuse or PCB
impressive.... however there'll be much cheaper & much less powerful than a big wagon
they appear to do electric ones if you lack diesel skills ?
So then you know how to fix , as no point using professionals lol
Anyhow what he said above is correct , you call it arrogance but it's forum banter , arrogance is your reply
Follow through the detailed help from Mr H and think about what jw just said
Then go back to your Porsche vehicles , while I work on some Toyota hybrids all the same to me......
Agreed but it looks like initial exploit is from a bad website or ad within a legit site. That then runs the code (based on browser and as the developer is on apple safari was tested hard) I see how the scan of local IP works based on the seeing what responds time wise. I assume this attack is primerly looking for ways into the host machine, do you think it could be used to attack anything on the local subnet?
A lot of hate for ring I see. Some of you say get an alarm first as cctv is useless because of burglars wearing mask, correct but the same burglars don't give a **** about alarms either.
Some of you miss the point, it's not all about stopping a break in but more knowing what is going on around you home.
If you're in to stopping the break in then surely you're all about steel doors, smoke cloaks and window bars, because alarms and cctv don't stop break ins they just make you aware it's happened and allow you to investigate post break in
I never said it wasn't consumer, just asked whether it had a role.
