  1. 512 if you use a 640 panel, split across 32 way expanders Beat me too it
  2. Yes they wil however that is what the encrypted UDL is for you can give the encrypted number out without exposing your UDL passcode
  3. Excellent, glad to help The UDL code in the app and the panel must match, otherwise no connection, you have the onion in the engineer app to encrypt the UDL code so it cannot be seen by the user
  4. Best thing to do is read the manual that came with the comwifi and the app, all you need to know is there, we update the routers IP address in the app so it can always connect. Notifications are instant, push is handled by the server as are emails, no need to understand the ins and outs of how it is done, all you need to know is it works, we handle the IP updates and the notifications. I do t want to sound patronising with the answer above, but everything is detailed in the manuals, follow them and it will work.
  5. Did you try and register more than once? Did you use a valid email address? The process is automated, no human involvement so it should have worked, PM me the details you tried to register with will get it checked
  6. Registered for what
  7. The app can be configured to send emails as well as notifications, all handled by our servers
  8. Confused i am. You don't need DNS, if using push notifications we track the IP address and update every time you connect, that's why the system is polled every 15Mins. I assume you are using this for the customer to have the APP. If not please explain some more.
  9. Correct, the access levels dictate who has access to what and why, without these restrictions mayhem could ensue.
  10. Cheeky i don't normally post in public but you have driven me too it. PM me your number I will call you tomorrow. There is no issue with our systems and I can assure you they work.
  11. 2016 i reckon work will start, probably 2017 before its published.
  12. As long as it gets through the vote and comment period this time still be next year before we see it, and then needs to go into PD6662 before we can use it in the UK.
  13. This is second time round, we booted it first time as the beam interruption times at grade 2 and 3 were draconian to say the least, all the other requirements you would expect at grade 2 and 3 are included, the interruption times are now more sensible meaning that existing external product can be used interanally and still comply. You could that a shorter interruption time would be acceptable internally due to the reduced risk of false alarms from typical external factors. However it would have meant that no product would be available at the time of publication, the reality is also that as with all standards the requirements are the minimum and manufacturers who want an edge should and probably will try and exceed the requirements to give themselves a competitive sales argument. All in all now I think it is a good standard from a product performance POV, however it still has some editorial issues that will need sorting.
  14. There is currently no product standard for beams, so the only claim that can be made is against the -1 system standard or PD6662, any claim cannot be third party tested because there is no product standard. The working group I am on in Europe have just published for comment a standard for beams, but only in the context of EN50131 so only for devices inside the supervised premises. The whole external thing is another ball game, standards are under way but we are years off having anything.
  15. Simple, the detection must be inside the supervised premises as defined in the standards.
  16. You mean cannot do/see anything
  17. Fair enough True, been a great tournament so far
  18. Nothing a big hammer would not have sorted, why leave it ringing? Surely client pays?
  19. At least they are nice and straight
  20. No still the same protocol as far as I am aware, pretty sure its works with any panel that natively supports the ComIP which i think was version 7, it may have been earlier
  21. No new hardware required, the rest covered by the other guys. Should work on older panels as well, that's part of the testing, the IP protocol has not changed since introduction so i think it will work on Premier panels back to V7, maybe earlier.
  22. It can do it through Montex, but its not the slickest solution by any means. We are currently testing internally a new version of the apps with push notification, should be available early next year.
  23. Version 1.00

    29 downloads

Details Keypad functions for Premier & Premier Elite Keypads, all models
  24. We like trouble at BSIA, I and others like a bit of disruption, make for interesting meetings, and gets things done, the old ways have to change, and so do the people involved the EU is going to stop all this national requirements nonsense and I for one fully support it
