  1. He's having a laugh with the pricing of just about everything he sells.
  2. Clearly, collection only as well
  3. No still the same protocol as far as I am aware, pretty sure its works with any panel that natively supports the ComIP which i think was version 7, it may have been earlier
  4. No new hardware required, the rest covered by the other guys. Should work on older panels as well, that's part of the testing, the IP protocol has not changed since introduction so i think it will work on Premier panels back to V7, maybe earlier.
  5. It can do it through Montex, but its not the slickest solution by any means. We are currently testing internally a new version of the apps with push notification, should be available early next year.
  6. Upgrades maybe, the value is in the recurring revenue over 3-5 years.
  7. If you go on the website they quote £99 key holder response, but you must click or call to get a quote, that's when you get the small print. No tricks, it's just marketing.
  8. Yep plus the additional monitoring charge, no monitoring, no £99 alarm.

  10. We like trouble at BSIA, I and others like a bit of disruption, make for interesting meetings, and gets things done, the old ways have to change, and so do the people involved the EU is going to stop all this national requirements nonsense and I for one fully support it
  11. Nothing to do with ACPO, BS8243 was mainly written by installers & inspectorates, we have always had code and fob as an option as it is more secure. If you want to get involved join the BSIA and get your voice heard.
  12. What? Can't be arsed to read this thread properly just back from IFSEC
  13. WTF just went and had me tea and the worlds blown up, all i said was iFSEC is moving
  14. At least you got the beer, and i am sure you enjoyed it on the way home
  15. TBH for us it is great, we deal all over the world now, and IFSEC is cheaper to meet all of our overseas customers than getting on aeroplanes, and most of them come over, I like it to put faces to names like I did with some of the guys on here a couple of years ago, so come on guys, last IFSEC in Brum get your buts down to our stand and grab a free beer.
  16. That's part of the reason i suspect, but mainly for EU visitors, i wonder what Brum will be like this year
