  1. The bin is that way >>> Also, start a new thread please. Thanks
  2. Hello and welcome
  3. I like him he comes across as a nice, humble guy.
  4. Lol, you've just watched his latest episode.
  5. Once saw him driving a steam engine in Sheffield. I'd just left the office and was driving home, he was pulling out of the side road besides the main Royal Mail building. He set off through the lights and a guy in the car pulling up to the same lights was that busy rubber necking @ him he ran straight into the back of the car in front.
  6. I miss pa's under the counters of pubs.
  7. Apparently she has this app downloaded when posted to the NE postcodes. http://www.geordie.org.uk/
  8. Lol, the devil is in the detail, I miss read it.
  9. I genuinely looked for the alexa skill, maybe through delivaroo etc.
  10. Just checking now... sadly no
  11. Yeah I have the temporary Blink things on the show too, nifty.
  12. Has your watch stopped... ...in 1993
  13. lol, just remembered where one is, it's in a rental so I looked on the inventory and sure enough.... You're welcome to it the next time I visit. I'll check the garage for the other too.
  14. The magnetic ones were used by both Modern and ADT I still have a couple of leather fobs somewhere. The smaller elmdene ones were the replacement and had a set led in the ring which were never used because of the regs but seemed light years ahead of the mag ones. Both had a really positive action, the mag with a clunk as it drew the ball bearing up and the other had a really nice quality 'click' to it. I only fitted maybe 1/2 dozen ARN1E ones and tbf I think they were over engineered for the application, ADT obviously thought they were overpriced. From memory they were 3-4 times the cost of the others. If I can find the fob I'll post it out to you, neither are new sadly though.
  15. They never really took off, fitted a few from memory were part of a trial. Fitted hundreds of both above.
  16. Anyway, it's all sorted and thanks for the update.
  17. Yes at that point, but when the rkp fuse blew then no.
  18. He swapped the fuses to prove, the sab fuse was intact.
  19. If possible I'd look to make sure that the cable is not going to short again. If you've damaged it with the drill and are confident enough I'd look at maybe putting a junction box in where the damage is but you'd need to isolate the whole cable from the panel before doing it.
  20. Why would it sound if a fuse popped when unset?
  21. No, it'll most likely just be the fuse.
  22. Tbf I'm not concerned (should I be?) I've not owned a phone since 1995 and this current S8 thing seems to be great on the battery, the Mrs phone is <£200 and she uses her bedside one (5.4v) to charge 99 percent of the time anyway. Does the additional 2v really cause that much issue? We have a couple of Galaxy Tabs and a kindle that often get charged on it and they are fine tbf.
  23. I've got the same but it has a fly lead. Anyway with the multi meter most are between 4.9c and 5.4v the one I use the most in the kitchen is 7.4v! And one of the two in the daughters old room are 0v. All are different makes bought at different times but all match in each room if that makes sense. Looks like I need a couple new ones. Lol
  24. Some good points and I'll look at the o/p voltage on them just out of interest. I don't like anything on show so find the convenience overrides the negatives for me at least.
