I also liked the early Jimny but they rolled easy iirc. Saw a new one a few days ago and I did have to look twice, looked nice.

The most popular 4x4 in some snowy country (can't remember where) and used by their postal and emergency service iirc. Very basic transmission and it used to be a manual selection puch unit I think.

Hi, Yes it is most likely the back up battery, relatively cheap to have it replaced and would also negate the risk of damage to the main panel through trying to charge a defective battery.
