  1. Probably for the best, but I'd go for a security company rather than an electrician.
  2. I still use that comment with the Mrs, she hasn't got a clue what I'm referring to just thinks I'm a mongo
  3. Some wet and dry and a rattle can of colour and clear coat from your local motor factors is another alternative.
  4. Lol, one man's granny is another man's girlfriend...
  5. But none for soap or deodorant!
  6. Hello and welcome Sean, Have a read of the forum rules and then look to apply for trade status.
  7. Galaxy does a few lights (Hall, utility and external side lite linked to the gate) via links. I also have some presence pirs and quite a few Sonoff bits, including temp sensors for the kitchen plinth heaters.
  8. Drop your phone socket off and see if it's coiled up in there
  9. As long as it's not the only form/primary form of securing...
  10. My pref would be a DT (for false alarms, not non alarming reasons) and to contact to the door. If installed correctly they are unobtrusive and if the door is grey etc, then they can be colour matched. As above a DT won't cure your issue as both technologies have to simultaneously activate to trigger the panel, the PIR element will still struggle in hot environments. In real terms they are only likely to enter via the doors (regardless of protection) and will go elsewhere.
  11. If you are cooking then the alarm won't be set?
  12. Hello and welcome Ryan, have a look at the forum rules and apply for trade, there is lots of good information over on that side of the forum.
