  10. The battery is ready for changing @ 4 years, the light on the main control may be dim by default. The only way to test the battery would be a discharge test.
  11. Do you know when it was serviced last? Turning them off and on is not good for them if the back up battery is faulty.

  15. Apologies, no, as the siren rings this can sometimes vibrate the internal tamper spring from it's position causing a tamper. You can check for a negative return on the tamper wire from the siren at the panel end. At the control panel identify the correct wire from the siren, remove from the control panel and put the negative probe of your multi-meter on it, the positive probe onto a 12+ source, if the tamper loop is complete the multimeter will show c12v, if the tamper loop is broken it will show 0v Be careful there is mains voltage present in the control panel so only do this if you are competent, otherwise call a specialist.

  21. Beat me to it, we're dinosaurs in comparison with skills that are no longer needed, don't knock plug and play in a few years home security will be wireless plug and play interconnected to your Alexa... Oh...
  22. Unlikely but just a thought, I've never had issues with them but the LED's are easily replaced if you are OK with a decent soldering iron.
  23. Have you tried swapping the RKP's to see if it's a voltage issue?
