    No idea, but I have noticed that range extenders are creeping in for theft with the keyless vehicles, like any kit buy it once and thieve multiple times, the more you take the cheaper the device becomes...

    I've fitted 2 one to a new Scenic the wife had and one to a vectra estate I had. Once the trim and bumper was off, as you say, very easy in kit form.

    Depends I think, on my old one the socket was out of sight. I hate seeing towbars or the gubbins of them.
