    Hi

Hi Bob, there's no 140 character limit here btw.
  3. I'll line em up...
  4. Vajazzle diamante's?
  5. What he said...^^
  6. This thread is a prime example of how having and keeping maintenance up pays dividends.
  7. Yeah, good luck with that.
  8. Don't let PJ find out!
  9. Hello and welcome Scott, if you are in the trade look to join the trade section, there is a plethora of useful information over there.
  10. @ 5 years I'd also look to replace the panel battery. Oh and I'd suggest the battery is not connected (more likely ime) or faulty as you say.
  11. Why are you so bitter, would they speak highly of you?
  12. Hello and welcome, if you are in the trade have a read of the forum and apply for trade status, there are lots more forums over on that side.
  13. I deal with e-mail mongs on a daily basis, either no etiquette or tech dumb. One engineer has been asked not to reply on his phone/tablet as he struggles with the very same - reply to all.
  14. As above, the norm would be to make sure the cables meter out, there's nothing obvious maybe lift a couple of carpets near the door jambs to check for damaged, poorly run cables. Once you are happy, make the customer aware they are paying a lot less by you utilising existing cabling and document it and the fact it's not covered under any warranty, on your spec refer to each device as 'utilising existing cabling' too, this is the norm in this type of scenario.
  15. Amen
  16. You'd be better installing something that's not tat or likely to cause you revisits and generates recurring revenue. Customers have no idea what they want.
  17. Dave Bartram?
  18. Hi Colonel, I love your chicken.
  19. Selfish bstards!
  20. As I sad above, you have absolutely nothing to lose by defaulting your current panel, if it works yay, if not then boo. Oh, and Texecom won't give a shite about your experience with an approved installer, I expect the approved list reads like a who's who of DIY alarms.
  21. You may find crashing and reprogramming the current panel cures your issues, as above I'd bet one of the bells is a dummy.
