  5. What brand did you spec in the contract?
  6. Sort of makes sense I guess, I don't have any sounders per-se on the system only the keypads (not had any internal sounders in over 10 years) would make a noise so technically any fault other than a total wipeout would cause local indication on at least one of the 4 keypads dotted around.
  7. I have 3 wired co and 2 radio heat/smokes.

My take is, (without reading all the above) if it's residential only and not a requirement (new build etc) then anything you add will be better than nothing, whether it be compliant with BS or wired in string. I have both smoke/heat and Co on my home alarm (wired in 8 core and wireless) and they function better than s/a imo.
