  1. Good chance the internal back up battery needs replacing, take the opportunity to have it serviced too by a reputable company.
  2. Realistically I'd say it's time for a new panel, the keypad membranes do come off and can be cleaned if you are careful and use something like Ambersil or a medi wipe containing alcohol.
  3. I've read that 3x and I still don't have a scooby what you are on about.
  4. Check the spring on the inside of the control unit that should make contact with the lid, it may be either missing (on the floor) or not seated correctly, then try to reset again using your code and the 'reset' button.
  5. Hi, yes anything programmed as guard will trip, they need to be walk through (inhibit entry) iirc.
  6. I understand and agree ref the accreditation as a measure, the motivation should be (only imo of course) to know you are the best you can be. The badges are for the customers but they were not mentioned, only the motivation. And no, you don't have to justify yourself to me Stu.
  7. You spoke of motivation, the motivation should be all about being the best you can be. I never mentioned badges...
  8. Give them a call, they are very helpful. Being better at what you do, shouldn't need a badge...
  9. ADT use the toughpad, it's pricey but the most rugged out there. I have also the Tab A with a good case with no issues.
  10. No, just stop interfering with the horses and you'll be fine. * the clulites are top banana, used by the professionals for stalking, traping etc. Not cheap by any means but most parts are repairable and they are British iirc.

    Security Professional ? Oxymoron?
  14. But affordable @ the outset and possibly more important, within budget for a couple?
  15. £300 would unlikely get you something reliable and professionally installed, personally I'd sort the alarm and then maybe look at something like the Nest cam. https://store.nest.com/uk/product/security/camera?gclid=CjwKEAiAyO_BBRDOgM-K8MGWpmYSJACePQ9CNmLiXr4IwuN9oniTGlOJAqzKS27702l2BhbQssUVmhoCgdDw_wcB
  16. In order I'd look at physical security (supplimentary locks to doors and windows), then an alarm, CCTV rarely deters it just means you can watch the covered faces whilst they ransack your home.
