    Hi All

    Hello and welcome.
  4. Drill very carefully and steadily straight up between the brick and plaster, then drill horizontal between the brick and plaster under the lintel, that just leaves a couple of small holes to fill. If it's papered then wet and slice a small strip back. Coving as above mentioned, lift a board if you can and have a look around before carefull drilling with a 400mm x 5mm bit up.
  5. I'd roll a Cuban on my hoe's thigh and laugh.
  6. wadr, the above scenario's are all one step behind...
  7. If you were serious about your security, I mean really serious..you'd have it on vibrate too...
  8. Bit of a moot point with his phone ringing in his pocket telling him his alarms gone off...
  9. I meant there will be, it'd be part of the build spec regardless of use of the room for concrete that thick I'd suspect. But where it's been drilled you wont be able to see it, only close up.
  10. Looks like when it was advertised on fleabay they only showed the reverse side... I wonder why...
  11. Who would allow or disallow the concrete? There's probably reinforcement in it but it'll be cut close by the core drill.
