  1. Correct me if I am wrong but the process of charging and submitting a VAT return is the same regardless of whether you run a security company or sell sex toys.
  2. It was on a 9651 on take over it was changed to a galaxy 2/20.
  3. I go out to a job we took over from a local approved company a couple of years ago. Monitored key holder only response. Anyhow the call came in customer reporting that the carpet fitter was refusing to fit new carpets in the hall due to the alarm cables. When we took over the job we had no idea what was lurking under the hall carpet. Never seen anything this bad before. It's all now been removed and recabled properly.
  4. We have used immix on some Axxis ip cameras and the Videcon vxh units, it works but I am not convinced how good it works. The last few CCTV jobs we have done I have gone back to hitel.
  5. We cover all of the Northwest.
  6. We get all our Axis stuff from Norbain. As for for software I can't really help as we have only ever used them with Milestone Enterprise. You need to go on a 2 day training course to buy it, there must be lots of other options though.
  7. Yes, but you get what you pay for.
  8. Now all the Hik vision stuff we have fitted has never been 100% so we have dropped it for now.
  9. This is the 145th one of these I have fitted today on one of our sites. The jobs been ongoing for about 3 years, not had one single problem with any of the axis kit we have used.
  10. We have fitted 100s of Axis cameras with only one not working out of the box, some of them have now been fitted 3 years and not a single problem. Also the Axis video encoders and I/O mod's have been 100% trouble free aswell.
  11. Died for good had to be sent back for replacement.
  12. Yes. Still having problems with LEDs not working on certain cameras on the system. We have had 2 machines die completely.
  13. We have had nothing but trouble with Hikvision. For now we have stopped using it.
  14. Or a bit of trunking lid.
  15. I am almost certain we have 2 x brand new 9600 RKP's in stores. Yet I am sure we have non on the books anymore. We upgraded the last of them a couple of years ago.
  16. No mobile is on and have web access, but calls not to me so it's very very rare I get a call. Since being told I had very high blood pressure etc a couple of years ago due to stressing over that kind of stuff I had a big change and thought feck it. It can wait until tomorrow / Monday etc, I now wind down at weekends if I am not on call and try not to think of work until Monday morning, and i get to spend quality time with my family.
  17. I came to that conclusion a couple of years ago remortgaged the house and bought a holiday home and have since spent every weekend when not on call away with my wife and kids. One of the best things I ever did.
  18. Now your talking Pete, where do I sign up ?
  19. I started on my own 8 yeas ago with nothing. If your going to make a go of it get ready for years of 80 + hour weeks. Tbh it's getting harder as the other muppets are working for peanuts these days.
  20. But surly under 2m it should be mechanically protected?
  21. After spending the last few days working in Glasgow I was expecting a total nightmare. TBH what a surprise, went out in the city for a meal and a few beers and it was far from what I thought it would be. I would 100% rather work in Glasgow than London.
  22. Lol, agreed 9500 all the way.
  23. Milestone ? But it's going to cost you a few bob.
