  1. the radio expander was on its own bus, devices are progammed on/ off by the keypad

  3. pir used 2 x cr123 the sanyo ones lasted many yrs...
  4. 6/14r used DS radio equipment, the recvier was metal boxed & did 32 (IIRC) device which could be split into a & b circuits
  5. It been many yrs since I touched one... Think the fobs are on the system as a zone, delete it. The radio stuff was documented its own manual, You'd be best of with co. with expirance of the product or rip the whole thing out & replace

  10. no I think they copied gardtec idea / design
  11. The litlle red ni cad battery cover was a ventcroft thing.... however the pcb in a little clear box was done by Gardtec from the early 90's

  13. hang on we've done this before- older banham sounder with gartec module...
  14. the last castle box was a euro siren- the plastic covered bell module looks "gardtec" to me ?

  16. Chubb appear to be back on blue triangle made by elmdene, Banham + their other brands, thier back box & plastics with pyronix electronic ?
  17. Building a bell box is 10mins work (if your slow) Rather than make anything I'd rather pay someone else to do it...

  21. I recall building then up from- ADE, Elmdene or Aritech Bell modules Kinetic Siren Kinetic Strobe Sometime with Dragon? Anti foam modules or CQR Foam pendent The 1st complete box I recall is CQR interga, 1st one we used was a CQR Cequra
  22. unless its been under cover or better still inside its gonna be f'ked, they not made 'em for 17 yrs or more, we last bought the horizontal type in 1994 ish
  23. personally I'd ditch the old controls & put a hybrid euro in. press II & see status of the alarm. If they can afford extensions they can afford some proper controls
