cheeky.... I unscrewed the remains of the back plate

Today I planned to pop into Happy Towers & spend a good day on the paperwork... On route I note the missing cover on one of my sites & carry on to work I check my alarm activations & there lots of alarm & confirms & keyholders contacted but not answering.... as the premises are open I ring 'em they finally answer & speak to Linda, she'd noticed the alarm "unset different" & wondered what the white thing was chucked on the grass (bell cover) Anyway she's there til 4 & can I pop on site & repair, I arrive to find her at her desk, she's checked the premises & can see no sign of break in, I check the log & there's various zones gone off on the stairwell & 1st floor She leads I follow, ground front fire exit door has been forced, upstairs the internal door has been forced & desk draw has been forced too, at the minimum some petty cash has gone. She rings the police, I go & replace the EWD, As I'm closing the lid on the new box, CSI are on site, he's whizzed though a visit & declared the burglars as "gloved" I tell him the alarm 1st went off on the 29th, 2nd time an 1hr later, then a no. of times 24hrs later moving though zones then the bell box got twated off, He can't understand why we didn't call the police.... I explain it doesn't hold a URN & then have to explain what a URN is... His epaulettes says "Senoir CSI" & he's going "surley if get confirmed intruder" they should ring the police regardless..." I like to say I'm surpised, but its not the 1st time

Shall we also guess which Bank it was ? I'm going with Barclay's, due to branch closures it was briefly a trendy wine bar which then closed & is currently a Cafe Nero, The cashier who served you was called Wendy you paid in cheque for the value of £278.14 which was an unexpected tax refund, it was a Thursday & the weather was overcast you took your golf umbrella but it did not rain.... Why on earth do you want to play guessing games 8yrs after the event ?

Recommend a WIRED system for a DIY enthusiast
MrHappy replied to security123's topic in !!..DIY Installers..!!
P48, or at least the metal endstation one, goes upto 4 rkp's & 4 expanders (total of 48 zones) & various other stuff, Did'nt look at Sw kit's, Ebay can be fine if its new & from a trader who's sells lots of the same items.... however as always buyer beware -

I can't think of successful alarm installer franchise ? Dyno does'nt seem to have done much, Yale or Stanley would probably have the marketable names....

Single door kit is cira £350+vat which is the cheaper end for access control, You'll then need a lock a PC, a token for every user & a what ever time it takes to get it all working, good luck

went out the other week & came home in taxi, £12 ish or £1.5 ish a mile, however people ring our office thinking we'll travel 30ml from the office to look at their faulty alarms for free,

1.6hdi, been wiped but did'nt look much worse before... Elm's a couple of quid & limited in its use, I've also a knock off lexia which I've not quite managed to get going

I've enough work but under staffed to start with, Mended the van yesterday.... engine light has been on months, after a week of looking I found my cheapo elm327 scanner lead & then looked the fault codes on the internet P0093 - Fuel System Leak Detected - Large Leak P1351 - IDM input circuit Malfunction/Ignition coil control circuit High voltage (Siemens system - Pre/Post heating relay circuit. Relay not controlled and glow plugs supplied). Whipped the plastic engine cover off & had a look how hard replacing glow plugs or the relay would be, had wipe around the top end as there a small amount of oil present, guess the oil might be diesel from the bolt which secure an injector, checked 'em with a torx bit on a ratchet & no.1 is very loose & no. 3 is quite loose. Fire the old beast up, no faults present, press the reset button & volá engines light is off & remained for 100+ml of chasing around happyland today, I'd bet the tame mong in my local garage would have charged lots & taken a long time to mend it, call me Dr Diesel
