DSC control weren't very poplar in the UK... The git hub thing looks interesting.
Personally I'd put every part of the alarm system controls onto to a bench, all circuit linked with resistors & see if it plays up ?
As you doing something daft like thinking the alarm control panel is meant to power every single item of the system ?
I've only been for work, couple of jobs in Edinburgh & one a along time ago in in Ardrossan,
I'm from Hull.... which is Fcuk all to be proud of.... 80 odd years later where still redeveloping WW2 bombsites.
lets guess at 25 years old ?
if there is no voltage at the keypad check the fuses
if there is voltage at the keypad get your hand in you pocket & buy new controls...
some get good advice. most don't....
@GrahamB
remove your knacked battery, power the main down without electrocuting yourself....
apply mains power only & chances are the alarm with start with control of the keypad
The book says-
The RFX is designed to work with the 9751, 9752, 9851 and 9853 control units.
723r/728r. A four button Remote Setting Device (also called a “telecommand”) that can be used to full set, part set or unset an alarm system. The 728r version provides “rolling codes” for added security.
Personally I'd bin the lot...
My crack pot theory, in the olden days-
Unmarried sex, affairs, poofery all used to be a bit of scandal & used to be blackmailable cause if the papers found out you loose your position in society...
Noncing is still very taboo, hence Mr Epstein's...
The high profile people is often about getting people of power into a black mailable position ?
Regards of being rich or poor I reckon I could cure all the offenders with nothing more than a simple claw hammer...
