  1. Fully programmable from keypad ?
  2. reading the article, The police later told the couple that four photos depicting category B child abuse - the second-most-serious kind - had been uploaded to an online chat site a year ago. Information passed to the National Crime Agency suggested it had come from their IP address. 1 year after the event the police turn up ? They appear to have an adsl router & I doubt they have a fixed IP Is it them, a nonce in the flat next door on their wifi or nonce with a fake IP... I reckon the later ?
  3. ? the plastic cases, buttons ect will all be your design either moulded in house or produced by a subcontractor components, transformers, speaker ect RS Components ? (I expect texecom buy else where & much cheaper) Its very unlikely anyone is going to make a business from making a control panel, start with something much simpler speaker, joint box, door contact
  4. I'd give 'em a new system provide they have maintenance & out the yale tat on ebay or in the bin if don't sell...
  5. well it could be worse, at least your not Australia... well come to TSI
  6. Same, however but I've got one plugged in at the office Internet off at 13:15 ish few mins later Ajax has reported the failure 15:15 ish Arc have reported the failure (is only G2, but hey...) Internet back on 2am the following, Ajax reported Arc doesn't report the the restore From my limited play with the product it make something like an enforcer seem dated, I'm an alarm man, not an app man, I don't think it the right thing for my co

  8. dunno, he might like the butchered pcb's, dangerous working at height involving a pallet which is my trade content ?
  9. my zone is linked out....
  10. access control with an alarm function ??
  11. true, that's looking at it positively however I can see then being sent out on job & being left or broken somewhere, there also about £70 dearer than a set of triples....
  12. I've had pole mount in a box for months I've dusted it off & used last week, to do those flood lights. Works well but at cira £250, its not quite VFM
  13. If you had picture taken in the same postcode or with something the grainy tat from mobile of the same vintage as the sounder (1990's) I'd guess at in being the remain of the fly lead for tamper switch ? Its all redundant, just buy a new external sounder the one you have is tat once sold in wickes...
  14. If I was a betting man- I'd wager you've more chance of getting a hand job off her majesty the queen than your powered down alarm making the "chirp" You've probably got a brand new in box, carbon monoxide or smoke alarm in the cupboard....
  15. I would not dare issue one to an employee, The odd time I used a telescopic ladder I'm shaking like a shitting dog.... & I've use the #palletofdoom
  16. I like yellow / black for alarm circuits...... cause it reminds me of a wasp!
  17. no, the alarm pair should be red & yellow -positive colours for the positive loop The tamper loop should be blue & black - negative colours for the negative loop the new fangled powered devices should be powered by white + & green - however we don't do any of the above !
  18. shock sensors have a 1st to latch, in these primitive pre mobile phone days... alarm men used to drill a little hole in the cabinet & fit a push to break switch which removed power to the vipers making them reset.... I recommend getting a proper alarm co. to fit a proper alarm ?
  19. personally never seen one, however alarms... 30+ yr old controls ain't uncommon
