some sort of panic prob ? either a button on a circuit or something to do with key 1+3 ? check wiring, power cycle, default reprogram or rip it off the wall & stamp on it....

I believe they the back lit box with back lit disabled all flashes with the strobe is triggered try it on temp wire before you fit it
