  1. wow, do you also have an Orion 1.6i Ghia ?
  2. I's guess the one in the picture is a decoy GRP cover with Blue plastic coated steel bracket, I've removed dummies but never a live one
  3. If you've no preconception of how things should work.... it might just make sense ?
  4. lol, the wholesale sell boxes they have no idea how to fit stuff, your dialer will work with a touch of swearing... your install is neat, but not how an alarm monkey would do it- bootlace ferrules & a speaker in speaker wire look odd to me I'm also a semi professional stalker, you decorative work looks good. I have an acquaintance who's fishes for shell fish & he spends his evenings watching telly, drinking larger & marking lobster pots, to my untrained eye they are really beautifully made & far too good to lob in the sea
  5. Unless your "grade 3" alarm is connected to an arc is not grade 3
  6. Some might say "Pill" but that might be going a bit too far ?
  7. Hartlepool ? Of behalf of TSI may I offer our commiserations...
  8. the items programmed on the data bus, don't match with the items wired on the data bus
  9. I see a sticker off a redcare on it.... 9600 /9610 When part set, sometimes some one moving in zone that was omitted could trigger the alarm when in entry. They also kept making the e/e tone from the rkp, when you'd turned it off & you'd have to walk test to make it stop... The 1060,1062, 1064 ? sensor in the pic also caused problems something on the pcb acting like an Ariel ?, we replaced a lot with 1080 twintec the product was something to do with arrowhead ? At the same time we was fitting 9452's / 9453's which didn't work proper with a keypad & needed a capacitor adding to make them stable ? I think we then went to 700l's & Apollo solo's & had less issues ?
  10. yes, however a Hik one is £10ish & only suitable for for certain products, often has a hole for PG gland, can't be used as an elbow or a t So plaggy, white or back, round plain lid make your own fixing holes a 5a one would be quite big behind a telly in fact make a circuit board to fit in a terminal box
  11. Plastic moulding- A shallow curricular box to mount an eyeball camera on, with 4 flattened sides for conduit entry A box to screw on the wall behind the telly big enough to take a brick psu & have enough space to terminate shotgun to 12v or cat5 onto coax for the dvr A plastic conduit box to connect to a RSC like the MK dantech but plaggy
  12. I think alarms is a declining market, most small manufactures of alarm stuff have gone. A bell box is plastic moulding & electronics for £20 odd, A tool box is plastic mounding no electronics & about £20 odd ?
  13. the tgony renders alarm has a itec / aritech bell module they used to last a very, very long time
  14. Fastest finger wins.... however I assumed you would have a had 9450 in your collection.
  15. you need something simple to start with something more complex like an eternal led flood light which is controlled by 833mhz cr123 powered pirs or remote fob is probably too complex ?
  16. lol, replied via PM Keep the cash & it will be with you in the next few days
  17. PM me your name & address & I will get sent out early in the week. I don't want anything more than the postage cost, which you can send me a gift via paypal
  18. Are any of the forums werido's or misfits after a Scantronic 9450 ? Its a late 80's plastic panel which I removed on Friday "working item" should be under 2kg as a packed item assume £3 ish via hermes the UK's worst courier.
