  3. ADSL on the alarm telephone line will interfere with the Alarms ability to here the tones which make it stop dialing. A "working telephone line" can have a ground fault can interfere with the Alarms ability to here the tones which make it stop dialing.
  4. Normaly your contract would state the call charges are your responsibility. There is probably a ground fault, star services or adsl on the line which interferes with the digi hearing the acknowledgment of the signal & to stop trying. I'd assume the installer gets a report of sites which have't done a signal in 24hrs or report of sites with excessive signals. You may ask them why they didn't act on the information... In turn they might ask why you run it up to £600. I'd assume the goodwill of you telecoms provider & alarm co. would cover most of your costs

  15. you can't really be a proper alarm co. without a team. do you really want to deal with the day 2 day shit of being an alarm co. ? My top tip is to trade under a name which does no define what you do- so no to Grant Alarms or Grant Fire & Security maybe to The Eddie Grant Group or Purple Pelican Ltd Good luck

  21. Sub has G2 radio alarm with 1st year free app signalling... I'd bet £5 on an external meter cabinet or fibre / telephone being accessible

  23. Your underinsured by 85% ? Assuming there is something very wrong with the alarm, what does your contract state in regards to maxuim damages? Something like 10 times the value of the alarm ? Your alarm co. will have a comphesive specialist insurance cover for this type of event, what do you have other than the Arc report ?
