  1. Rio should be where you wired in the keypad ab
  2. Why you keep the cable stripped so short? Strip back more will be easier for you to manage Also generally yes , a&b correct , I haven't really used the flex but the Rio could be powered with single keypad and you could take an aux 12v from panel if it has one to Rio Few ways you can do it can't see pics that well
  3. There's many who fit scantronic in London call around ,menu system hasn't changed on some models , If you always have it serviced where has engineer disappeared to? More a case of call out charges etc most will charge £150+ to come and see you unless you find a local house basher
  4. But forum needs you
  5. You switching to DIY.com?
  6. ok but how is it expensive? its called gold, so the likes of swb and maybe chris banging in there gear get a better service than the one who doesnt or you need to house bash better ok seriously please list the free udl services etc
  7. Be serious it's gold membership for a reason , problem here is your not installing enough Remember risky risco used offer stuff free ending up charging And texe still has free services for your house bashing level all good eh
  8. You think the wireless sensors are better than wired shock? Taking into consideration the wireless shock can be adjusted on software side ?
  9. messy on windows if they dont let you drill them windows proper
  10. Because programmed not activate bells in fire , you need to.change settings then
  11. Why you haven't explained is what the engineer did to correct it Did he reprograme it? If so then this will happen again at some point If it just corrected itself then again it will happen again probably when your out and someone tries to break in as a worst case As above if you don't look after something , servicing etc then these things will happen Thing is why wouldn't you update your system like you do your phone or computer etc
  12. You mean exit time not ally set by the engineer Do you have access to the engineer menu or have the engineer code? Although the the V2 Tel is a dialler I assume there is another box next to it? Or a picture of your keypad or it has a name on it Or are using the dialler as an alarm?
  13. This is DIY man we need fuses
  14. So 20mm glass fuse on eBay look at rating on silver colar
  15. Look at your picture Right hand vertical board at top there is a switch , next to it is a jumper with two small pins , use the jumper to short both pins this will close the tamper If the card was in its own box it would have a spring on the switch instead
  16. Experiment, don't you mean the doors are final exit or something like that Just wondering is that what they called you in for as in main issue?
  17. These are a right pain for this , make it exit route , but it will activate main alarm on coming down 9651 didn't have good options for this bit the silly Billy's
  18. Because it's in main box fit jumper next to the top switch
  19. Did you fit the spring in the portal?
  20. Find a local house basher to programme it up for you is another option but he might still charge you £250? Perhaps get all your equipment on the wall in each position and then work on a circuit at a time But as swb said this is way over your head , wrong choice of panel really should have bought Yale as a fun project
