  1. Cos your real name is Peter and he has no one to converse with , so made this swb id up to talk to
  2. Yes great he's on the ball, now you know you can't get engineers code so easy and have no choice but to pay someone , it's great he's back on track and your persistence has paid off
  3. If he isn't approved that answers the cert question Other than that , no company has to give you an engineer code , but you could pay them to do a hand over Seem your ready to DIY it , so then you don't need an installer? Yellow man what's chances this system is locked? Or can a other installer get round that?
  4. If they are ssaib approved that is....
  5. Plenty CCTV even the mobile phone operators getting in on the action Decent CCTV systems dying trade
  6. Are you the engineer? Or you need to contact the engineer , thought you need them to connect to cloud? Is it because risco has started charging and you have been disconnected?
  7. I think the hikvision bell with wired bell connection is good And if you have a bit more money then the comlit vista which has an onboard relay is good to But both versions are an electrician nightmare lol , but they seem to fit the Veritas ok lol Ring is just made for the diyers especially the WiFi version on battery pack , you unplug it charge it put it back , other version is two wires and your done
  8. Yes , not familiar with flex 20 but don't they have a seperate zero volts aux power ?
  9. Lol Stop selling the £25 hik and look at better models Although corridor model can be strange at times to look at
  10. You have spare cable put the same sensor on a fly lead and experiment if you like
  11. All great tips , but this one's hardcore good advice
  12. As our yellow friend stated why all devices wired this way if your using eol So you have your answer
  13. No b- isn't tamper return , look at list A wire that came back to bt was the tamper return possibly black if nothing was changed from your original picture
  14. Also you should go for eol now rather than later otherwise you won't do it And get a ladder for the bellbox learn to balance with drill screwdriver and bellbox
  15. So just to go from panel to panel if that makes sense Bt is tamp BA is trigger B+ is 12v STB is strobe B- is 0v I think lol
  16. Ok so earlier you didn't mean to write bell+ It's bell then +12v So the terminal bell is the bell trigger
  17. If you think the wiring and connections are fine , what happens if you move them to a working circuit as swap them over at panel or expander , the fault will move with the zone or it will be the panel output problem
  18. I think you got it wrong somewhere , picture of panel connections please? Texe experts will turn soon the firmware suitcases
  19. So the black bt if it's the bell trigger then it has to go to the bell output on the texe I don't the texe but would have thought it's obvious
