  1. Could be polish some of them speak better England should than me
  2. Old rubbish yes , change batteries often Poor setup leads to wireless bells going off often resulting in bells needing batteries to often , although poorly trained users can do this to but less so Nest has also a paid for option atleast it does in the u.s and will have e that here to from what I know I think enforcer is best option for a fixed alarm system for diyers although the bell tamper gets everyone lol But eventually you may need an installer for the cloud side , they give end user support though from what I have seen Others here might be enforcer experts who know more
  3. Old skool +1
  4. Lol, it might work better than others , this might effect the sale of the pyronix enforcer to diyers............ What is a proper alarm anyway these days ?
  5. Ok so choose a bell and yes you can Theoretically you only need the red and black if that's what's its doing to power the horn on trigger Tamper is another circuit which can be modified yes But any bell could work Photos?
  6. You done anything I said then? Or ignored what anyone is writing?
  7. Lol
  8. Default the router? Try another router ?
  9. Straight forward low security DIY dot com +12v -0v Bell is the trigger But your old panel needs to be seen to be sure how to connect it, assuming your panel output goes to zero or goes to 12v will depend on where you can connect a sounder to it You need the tamper blue and yellow that might be able to work across the zero volts and t connection but that's if you buy an up-to-date date bell Or just buy an electronic sounder to suit the power output and stick it the old box And then don't buy a new phone or service your car for a couple of years and save up to have a new alarm fitted or buy a new alarm to be fitted and come back here and get help how to replace it possibly Make sense?
  10. You got keyholder , police or remaniac response?
  11. Twice as much? Nah cost difference is small GSm drops to Can't see why you would have single path only , perhaps it's because I looking at it on house bashing point of view so cost difference to have both is minimal
  12. But I assume the GSM switch over is the advantage yes?
  13. Yeah but I talking about traders lol By the way do you use the hkc GSM/WiFi dual card , is the WiFi part any better than original single WiFi card , as that one drop out a fair bit due to routers
  14. There's a thread somewhere on the dark side about this lol Some say hik drops out but more likely the router WiFi Chinese makes work just as good from eBay Comlit if you got more money And then the discussion started about ring , ring is as easy as it gets Most of them have motion but unless it's sighted well it will trigger on everything, some turn sensitivity right down and say it helps
  15. DIY go for Hikvision hiwatch Hikvision pyronix enforcer Its decent DIY gear being installed by proffesionals
  16. He should have left it in as a doorbell
  17. Geezer I talking about option51 , 17 restart I think you eaten to many samosas the galaxy which has its quirks has this feature and solves the odd bug Stop trying to be an alarm monkey
  18. Ok so you do require a restart , thanks for agreeing, not always of course
  19. I still don't get it The white wire goes to a tamper terminal Then the other terminal should be like led to zero volts unless your using more than one bell
  20. Probably outputs I don't get it why is white going to the other tamper terminal? And where does it go in the panel
  21. Your picture doesn't show where white is connected in bell box end
  22. If there is movement or mechanical problem with the box , with everything normal you should be able to create the tamper if you move the plastics Although it's possible for a bell to be faulty from new I still think might be mounting issue , Have you mounted it to flat brick or something else Is the cable entry from top , maybe it's crushed going into the box Does box lid sit correctly? If not it sometimes looks slightly lifted because base is warped on what it's sitting against so switch is not firmly down Pictures man need more pictures where you live off the A40 somewhere?
  23. So basically they want a system fitted to grade 3 specification with no bell box externally , which is simple you just install it as grade 3 But as they said above not much good for insurance approval as it won't conform totally to g3 All about insurance at end of the day and if it isn't they just want something more hardcore
