  1. Yes we came to this country , to learn how to be real alarm men , but they talk to us as if we don't know how to twist leaves together and make the circuit, maybe I find forum in Wales they have different rules there .... (Please read in African accent )

  5. You need to port forward on the router do you know how to do this ? In basic terms Access router go to firewall or port redirection or whatever it is called on your router Port forward the http port and the rtsp port to the ip of your recorder , in Samsung if it shows you one number then that is the one your forward if it is a range like 554-558 , then 558 is the one you would use to connect to it in the app But a range of 554-558 is also forwarded to the DVR if needed Or something like that What router you got

  12. Complete kit might not include cables to that distance unless your getting premade cables of a long length and have worked that one out Are they all varifocal cameras ? Otherwise fixed lens won't give you a close up of the car , although 5mp on zoom is quite good evening when playing back
  13. Thermal imaging would do it

  17. What you mean simple solid alarm? So insurer has insisted? You have an alarm ? Then did they give a spec? Why not get an alarm company in? Ask them , you will have to get quotes from them to meet whatever insurance spec you have been given and won't make difference what anyone says here

  20. Forget that total waste of time Annke Swamn Maplins.... Screwfix.... All will give you trouble , at least with hikvision it's based around the pro-diy gear and now they have DIY gear , I say that because that's what there game plan was before But it's still worth getting it fitted just to remind you of that lol
  21. Where you mount the car camera you may need two One giving a wide view and another giving a close up
