  1. He means get an alarm engineer to help, (approved lol) as you say occupational hazard , but sometimes leads to problems you can't normally solve So if it's an engineer reset then you are stuck , it may require code reset reprogramme and so on Thing is if you have it fixed then you should also charge the customer for its reset , as you only want someone to clear tamper and put it back how it was , customer might get cheeky and say we will use it then As above its an expander issue so you havnt worked it out correctly , opening more covers on an old systay make matters worse
  2. Must be G , he been on fire long time and can't rember galaxy
  3. Exit engineer and use default manager code , rules say I can't tell you that but isn't hard to find
  4. Or in 51 look for reset manager code then use default manager code to set users up
  5. You need galaxy user lol Does menu 51.17 have a defaulting option ?
  6. Have you tried default user codes? As you got the default engineer code I assume , or it was given to you so you should have a managers / user code
  7. Use user code So you got this hooked up to your room and experimenting?
  8. Ov to the tamper Although new bel might not solve your problem , example if you bypass the bell tamper , then get a new bell reconnect cable and you still have a bell tamper then what? Maybe you need something else apart from a bell
  9. Get yourself a budget of £2.5k for Cctv and around £1200 for your alarm All depends what you value everything at
  10. I like the plug reversal thing haha And of course a big thankyou for another firmware update

    HKC Alarms

Probably because he didn't buy the range finder and guessed, surprising with many systems that this is done , even with galaxy range isn't that good depending what's in the way
  12. Chancer spot taken , very hard to get past those quals

    HKC Alarms

HKC very flexible has minor issues imo What did he slate?
  14. Basic blag like no guarantees live view or remote playback will always work, and expect delays , allot won't say it at point of sale incase they lose the sale Bit like diallers , having no dial tone, or gsm units losing there signal, all this stuff does weird things especially unmonitored stuff that house bashers put in , but just tell em they can pay more for different services then they will be quiet
  15. Don't be sensitive we have alarm monkeys for that, get setting and set unset and report back
  16. Contact the other bloke up north (pm)
  17. Yeah it does , who you buying from? Maybe they can send you evaluation quantam You could remove the pillars right of psu in panel will dualcom fit then? Or they just to big
  18. Quantum? Great panel for replacing the all in one , switch to wireless and use bell cable etc, I get many who "dont" want to change from all in one panel Hkc well overall better than rest , above all its not available to public, that's main selling point , panel can be locked customers don't mind that either , But if they can make it do a few things the dimension can do it would top it off Keypads not pretty but customers like the solid hinge which most pads snap Buying direct ok, but I got some bloke up north who is allowed to sell to me so more flexible when single items needed for small basher like me 1070 - I wouldn't mind seeing how you manage cables inside , as you pros know how to dress them up and gives me motivation to improve
  19. What nvr and app you using ? Don't you given all the blag about lag and 3g and it all depends on signal and do and dat?
  20. Rf-echo from hkc? Only two per panel but you can use other outputs for wired bells if you like
