  5. What's the return address?
  6. If you give a name and address of the person , when another person gets the letter and sends it back marked as, no longer at this address , you will get another letter saying we have not been able to contact him at the details given, then you write back and say that's the address last known and you will try and find out where he has moved to and let them know when it possible to do so Providing you trust the other person of course
  7. Because they want to confirm driver then will send out another letter, I wonder if you try and blag it was there another camera further up capturing driver face
  8. Com WiFi the hard part
  9. Just sold another quantam70 today cracking little panel I tell all my customers don't attach to insurance to save £20 as it will cost you more when you forget to set and they don't pay up, even the ones who go with a urn don't bother with the insurance discount these days because they know its not worth the £20

  16. Plenty of installers , maybe panel is blocked hence defaulting won't work and you must get an installer who either knows how or install a new panel
  17. Hik vision and Samsung Maybe not high end but commonly used by installers from what I seen
  18. They still going because people don't want to spend otherwise they would bin them , and in some cases companies to expensive or putting in more rubbish in its place
  19. No, engineer code, is mostly on-site alarms and doesn't bring up a menu screen when connected ,unless you know the make perhaps DVR do bring up menu , but again who cares on low end budget bought with not much else on the network Of course the £300 brigade installing in our local businesses will be causing problems , but again you want to pay for rubbish then its what you will get I eat waffles for breakfast I don't actually know what your on about Elec ?
  20. "No offence seriously"But your talking rubbish , generally some stuff is on the web not all codes and many wouldn't know what to do with them anyway, they are simply protecting the ones they install for because nature of people is to mess with there system by not giving out info and of course the teefs who will have ago at something IT guru can makr mistakes to
  21. CG your point is the DVR makes an open way to get to the rest of the network which for some can be disastrous , what about any DVRs being used in data sensitive companies , looks asthough any using hikvision here , what are they like in terms of security
  22. Problem is mass market will raise eyebrows and say oh well I bought it now and the £300 brigade installed it so who cares So then moving onto higher end products is where we want to see this secure
