  1. Can you give a simple example of control panel keypad costs , or maybe not , I can't see how buying trade will cost you anymore
  2. Sounds as though you wired the phone dialler or programmed it incorrectly who knows , sounds like allot of guessing Do one thing at a time
  3. Geezer it won't last Option1 strip out the bellbox and buy a flashing led kit with battery pack Option2 drill hole through wall use power adapter to power leds in stripped out bellbox What your doing as said above won't last
  4. No battery shouldnt make difference, although faulty batteries can damage the panel You do realise test is just an approx 5sec burst and it will change when you take that off?
  5. Anyway you can get a mains adaptor to power it from where you have mounted? Or as above easier to buy dummy bell led kits etc
  6. What connection have you made? Example strobe to -strobe etc Also take the bellbox down and wire it up next to the panel , it may help in you working out what you have done wrong , still possible its faulty of course
  7. Is your multimeter turn dial and you switched it round amps dc to measure current? How did you have leads connected when doing this You check any fuses?
  8. Customers all think wireless all the rage, it has its place , but look how many bigger companies follow suit , small install charge , fit junk Aslong as the movement get there monhly charge On a side note in China some group called Falun Gong spiritual movement has been banned since 1999 declared as an evil cult, couldn't work out why strange group
  9. Well charge some extras ? Get contract with not everything included in small print, or they don't work that way?
  10. Adt will have add ons in reckon base contract must be cheaper to get foot in door
  11. If you have other income , don't bother with lower end kit , no point, otherwise that's all you will get ie type of customer , you want those who want premium goods
  12. Yes if your nuts and need shooting like me they let you in , its for my own (your) protection
  13. Thought regs said competency was for your own place not anywhere else?
  14. Two way on what? Only states rf system is two way, are all the devices two way?
  15. Yes still all going good , apart from one who seems to think a mains failure is my fault lol I even got my first low battery level enquiry haha Adi might like that But flexibility of the wireless sensors is the big plus to , being 2way aswell I think having used the other brands, you n3d to use hkc regular to appreciate how good it is (of course the dimension wired is still hardcore )
  16. Sensor has a range, look at paper work, curtain pole may not really affect its pick up , you could always experiment , stick pir up and see its pick up , after all your looking for movement coming from a certain direction in your house , unless they cut through a wall avoiding your sensor to get all your stash in those safe deposit boxes Seems it's over complicated now just stick the sensor up man
  17. Fob hanging off is customer issue so would have nothing to do with it, unless your suggesting the installer fits it there for the customer, what customer does isn't controllable always
  18. Is that because its one way you never know anyway , or they manufacturing faulty units in batches
  19. Thought they were cheap because of that ? Less outputs cheaper product , and customers can buy it as cheap as you can ?
