  1. Nice, as said above , if you provided maybe some spacers if you need to mount it with a bigger gap , or small redesign would do it If I was stuck I would buy these although I use the rack brackets currently in a way to wall mount
  2. Yes range is lame , some put them in for decor , and then bang on about it has to be top security and all that nonsense , I can get passed there 360 tho
  3. Did you wire into the ceiling rose or light switch in the hallway?
  4. No They sell quite well on eBay , default it and sell it , get a GSM type thing if you can't go up yet instead
  5. Correct all unmanaged But I get what your all saying , thanks for the guidance will look into it
  6. I get you I suppose 10gb switches are possible , but expensive
  7. Ok will give that a gobut this might sound daft If I already have a cat5/6 cable 30m run connected to gigabit switches How do increase the uplink bandwidth ? With dual uplink switch?
  8. All the switches are linked together and a single point to the router Single cable going from warehouse to a gigabit switch from warehouse to first floor I should have said all nvrs and switches link to a gigabit switch first floor Disconnecting the warehouse switch above or at switch momentarily will solve problem until it decides to occur again My thinking was bandwidth , do you think syst.cpuld benefit with a dual uplink? As there is a spate network cable going from warehouse switch to first floor I could try and get a switch with dual uplink not sure how dual uplinks work tho?
  9. You mean on the cameras themselves ? Or via NVR settings , cameras is possible yes Yes , setting the stream on NVR , or recording bit rates etc are the same , lowering one makes no difference Remember both nvrs will show the drops same time
  10. Dudes an issue Setup is 32way NVR 1st floor 8way Poe switch + router 32way NVR gnd floor Remote Poe switch warehouse Remote Poe switch reception So every now and then all the cameras fed from the ground floor switches, will start to drop the cameras out , sometimes a few and sometimes all of them come and go It corrects, if you either disconnect the uplink from the warehouse switch or if you power cycle it , The cameras are affected on both nvrs at same time, other than that it sits quite happily, even when mixing a brand of nvrs it didn't make a difference one time there were three nvrs but problem persists, although I understand it seems as though it's not the nvrs at all ,just giving you extra info 20odd cameras but it occurs even with just 10cameras on system if we take some off What do you think?
  11. Just 0v , 12v , resistors on the relay points with the a terminated tamper if that's the right way of saying it, like you would a door switch with no tamper switch
  12. Round these parts , no internal sounder means they will take there time
  13. No man totally wrong ag6 doesn't have scb mode in anyway hence it will eventually kill the panel
  14. So basically no eol required put them in a nonnuse position
  15. Try MBR tool , maybe that's the issue
  16. Either way get rid of that junk and if you have fault you will have to fix it So Honeywell flex might do the job for DIY fix , I assume you know how to programme an alarm? Otherwise local installer maybe your best option You may end up having to open some detectors , but they probably as old as the panel and plastics can break If your not on tight budget then get all new sensors aswell If your not on tight budget and still want to reduce cost , then probably what your protecting isn't worth it anyway , so just scrap and leave it on the wall and have no alarm Otherwise wireless DIY pyronix enforcer will do you....
  17. Not always the case You trust him to install it so trust him to maintain it, mostly they do this to help you in future However if it's just a user password change it no problem and make sure you know what you set it at , make sure you do all the bits like security questions fail safe , maybe make another user password and so on In anycase it's not like camera is pointing at your fridge....
  18. Dude start again Zone 1&2 resistor legs touching Make all zones unused the ones you don't need But before that remove the Rio power it off , restart panel , reconnect Rio , add Rio
  19. Lol I wondered why he was doing that
  20. Which galaxy model? You can buy RSS tho
  21. Vodaphone said they have no details, but they all keep them for five years minimum
  22. If your here I don't think you will be making jack , just an honest opinion no offence As above China will do it all for you , but better to learn mandarin first
  23. I have a broken set , they are no good for to much use outdoor , odd occasional job , I think mine cost about £140 ten years ago , it did its job for the job I needed it for, and that job paid for them anyway i uesed it handful of times They haven't changed much , if I need another I will price it in on the job I need it for and have it new each time lol
  24. More detail , what alarm what communicator and how have you wired it up
