  1. Yeah but they chucked a whole load of sand and gravel down I think
  2. What's difference ? Lol Currently locking engineer is locking nvm
  3. Lol Odd place that , it's built in some kind of sand right? Or parts of it
  4. So what about your Smart TV Car Washing machine The list can go on , and sure you can get sometimes odd password turn up on internet but your talking about a"security" device Simply put if the sub wants the eng code then he should know that you hold no responsibility for the system and nothing is warranteed you would have to be crazy to do it If they already have code it's difficult to take it from them, but if you have contract of service to provide them , I wonder does it comply when you have a contract that sub has access to main settings? Alarm monkeys? Does it matter to your efficacy insurance that you allow the sub to keep the engineer code ? Or I am looking at it the wrong way ?
  5. So overall not much worth protecting in there anyway? I suppose texe app system is still free?
  6. I lock every panel since I moved to hkc and every higher end texecom I find is also locked It's all good best way Also happy to release to an installer
  7. Give to Boyz who on are install they will look after it for you?
  8. Hkc pirs are stable plus they don't trigger on just a slight movement , not sure how to describe it lol
  9. Many have extra imoboliser fitted Depends what car you have , as not all of them are worth stealing ....
  10. Doesn't work well for fa Hkc pir won't trigger as fast as normal standard pirs might be better option or the wireless as said above
  11. My alarm normally faults on the day everyone goes out (as we get to door) or heat is a problem , original wiring was loft and PSU can't take intense heat lol failed yesterday Galaxy dimension was bullet proof PSU transformer
  12. As said app isn't your problem , false alarms is what you want to solve
  13. Nice, as said above , if you provided maybe some spacers if you need to mount it with a bigger gap , or small redesign would do it If I was stuck I would buy these although I use the rack brackets currently in a way to wall mount
  14. Yes range is lame , some put them in for decor , and then bang on about it has to be top security and all that nonsense , I can get passed there 360 tho
  15. Did you wire into the ceiling rose or light switch in the hallway?
  16. No They sell quite well on eBay , default it and sell it , get a GSM type thing if you can't go up yet instead
  17. Correct all unmanaged But I get what your all saying , thanks for the guidance will look into it
  18. I get you I suppose 10gb switches are possible , but expensive
  19. Ok will give that a gobut this might sound daft If I already have a cat5/6 cable 30m run connected to gigabit switches How do increase the uplink bandwidth ? With dual uplink switch?
  20. All the switches are linked together and a single point to the router Single cable going from warehouse to a gigabit switch from warehouse to first floor I should have said all nvrs and switches link to a gigabit switch first floor Disconnecting the warehouse switch above or at switch momentarily will solve problem until it decides to occur again My thinking was bandwidth , do you think syst.cpuld benefit with a dual uplink? As there is a spate network cable going from warehouse switch to first floor I could try and get a switch with dual uplink not sure how dual uplinks work tho?
