  1. Look at the cylinder there is an arrow pointer , needs to be pointing up, unless you magnets are to far away
  2. I think you have used the wrong manual as there are three manuals for these panels in general and perhaps you followed the defaulting of the panel by mistake Possibly
  3. Please wait ? The codes are usually easy to default if there's nothing wrong with the panel
  4. You probably need a 3mm aswell But using in impact? I personally think expensive way to do it , I assume you have speed adjust on your impact and if not using a clip on chuck then using the more expensive drill bits with built on shaft
  5. Fuse inside panel on PCB blown? Although maybe it's dead
  6. Yes once power is done just install switch there and it will probably work
  7. Ideally get power that end , if you can follow the existing cable with power cable of appropriate type
  8. This makes sense why your so confused, wrong trade....
  9. Ok but you don't have to use the fault
  10. true, in case other diyers read this, op original post makes no sense leading up to this , but it is possible to blag your way through it , battery afters years is still needs to be changed having it connected without a load test and so on gives no guarantee, ignore rs232 comment and follow the manual , and default zones all need to be programmed, none of it is an oddity realistically, the fire zones would have been either setup by the op in error or its a used pcb or they are defaulted to those attributes on those zones from factory even tho unlikely, so watch where you buy it as op forgot to mention , from new make sure you default it anyway as a diyer that is.. atleast it might be working now so all good
  11. Then tamper might be open if it's running through the zones , meaning it's setup as global tamper and you haven't connected the tamper and.zone wires correctly Or you selected a menu by mistake and pressed default?
  12. Lol I tried to look at manual it's as bad as other manuals
  13. So your just using the AA and TT terminals in that case without eol and without any resistors
  14. Or he could try having the ethernet card and use the Honeywell app to know what's going on Or selfmon app
  15. You will have to default the panel to reset the options , this is issue when you haven't noted what changes you made and not really an installer , then selecting and changing options confusion dot com If you have way to note your setup then default the panel and start again
  16. But taking this into consideration the basic diyer would probably stated here they changed the system battery anyway So sometimes being able to do many things makes no difference It could be anything , but as said , check fuses , check power outputs , take the plunge maybe and change the battery aswell Have fire extinguisher ready incase you get something wrong but usually small.pcb like that shouldn't be that bad as long as you don't use foil paper as a fuse
  17. Wrong keypad? Or wrong tags? Or faulty keypad?
  18. Don't know, I don't really know the panel But usually if it doesn't let you unset with code it's because you have to use the proximity tag If prox tag isn't letting you then I assuming an option is the problem with the proximity tags
  19. Check tag / user options Assuming you can unset normally?
  20. For sure , last one I worked ten years ago, we took the wireless unit out and surface wired
  21. 9750? Scantronic?
  22. Is this you?
  23. Ah your old ways are gold
