  1. Well you can still have an alarm , but aslong as you declare your previous claim , there's no problem, just don't take any discount either based on you having an alarm , it's all a scam anyway in some respects (scamnis insurance part , not the registered nsi ssaib bit)
  2. Try different insurer Many don't realise they need a maintenance contract etc , as insurer only asks for it when they make a claim
  3. But not using the keypad key , unless you dip it in freezer for few hours
  4. Nah very unlikely Out of curiosity why do they want it , did you ask for it? They ask for it? Or is it you said you have an alarm they gave you a discount and said doing forget to send us the certificate?
  5. https://www.tapgateway.co.uk/
  6. Maybe on and off But even odder that , it's the last time you got any signalling is 5months ago Upgrade , your wasting your time or use open tap it will cost just as much but should work , look it up on Google
  7. Do you mind writing that again , in more understand way that makes us happy to be here and provide good service long time
  8. I had one like this , it went lunatic on me , messages stuck in the syst , it kept ringing phone back for days saying undeliverable lol
  9. Probably why he's doing it to look after it
  10. What's the number your dialing to , who is the old and new supplier
  11. You can't programme it to unset ?
  12. So do you have the engineer code and access the settings , this isn't a panel I know well But now your saying you have removed the board and that's why the fault came up Can you not put the board back and then just remove line reporting? As as above then you can connect pins for signalling Lol
  13. I assume he is saying , the line fault is on all the time , but same time saying he has no.manual , so assume he can't find the line fault settings in the menu , wants to dis the board but saying it's on another board that he needs I thought that just comes off , or as Pete said disable
  14. To signal?
  15. What happens if you press A instead of enter when problem.showing?
  16. So when it says additional code required , you putaster code in , does it not say fault? What key you pressing after enter code?
  17. Are you sure you don't have a fault ? And your missing it As above logs might show something, did you buy from eBay used panel?

I thought it was expensive kit , then.... https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-c-36/intruder-alarm-ancillaries-c-36_46/texecom-premier-elite-flasher-interface-p-3198.html £28 odd quid cheap , strange to call it OTT
  19. Odd that , many use cat5 for analog aswell What you on about dude ? Or what's point
  20. Plenty of issues dude But realistically the suppliers have a lot of problems, very slow on euiqpment But then probably because so much is made by Huawei , they have to rethink , all of bt dongles and many others made by them to, then they need to swap over as they go along , 5yeara I just meant you will see obviously allot more VoIP in residential But let's see eh , maybe covid 20 will put a stop to it .....
  21. Cool, from the big aluminium radiator tamper you managed to flash firmware ......
  22. Well not exactly it will be good five plus years before we see it.in a big way Although allot of new installs are going in IP route , all business around here I have seen are being given VoIP by bt Virgin are still mixing it , doesn't seem to be priority , perhaps expense for them and they need money for the airline .....
  23. Missed that bit ,I assume compact can't have an IP card
  24. Won't work Either buy a GSM dialler Or tell installer fit up an IP card and get you app control Latter being more complicated but probably cheaper on long run as the gsm unit is best used with a contract sim so you can receive messages without worrying about toping up Of course this is all if you just want some kind of notifications as opposed to "proper monitoring " which involves higher monthly fees and contracts
