  1. It's possible , I think most competent diyers need to see if they don't need a working alarm for about let's say six weeks then you could give it ago , and call someone after if it doesn't work out
  2. Good reviews, don't kill it tho lol I assume your not doing masses of printing , seems like good equivalent for the old hp laserjet
  3. Adding relay easier than whole discussion

  8. Taking a guess , you changed batteries and cover is not on correctly in kitchen and batteries in an expander need replacing ? Basically never serviced and retested Call installer dude and pay to get it fixed you will be happy spending that £200 on the system
  9. Half a bag/? Lol that will do the whole wall
  10. Ah so you mean strip of jacket of cable Flatten cores out and use Wickes 60min silicon to form into a ribbon cable spot Nsí tricks are so cool .....
  11. Yes FX is like an entry , if thats the only option you have
  12. Your not ex military are you?
  13. PIR is on entry ? So it needs to be set as final entry exit whatever terminology the enforcer uses , can't remember myself Or you meant you have a contact on the front door ? And the PIR in the hallway triggers the alarm , again it should have some attribute that knows the entry zone has been triggered giving you time to turn alarm off
  14. As said above , what's above ? Carpet? Cables look so close to the surface doesn't look as if you will get.much filler on top either Other option break more plaster below and go behind them a little , is it an outside wall ? Or internal , old internal breeze block? Although messing with the coving is an option you get it wrong it will be messy and always noticeable
  15. I think it's hardware issue , diff panel but I have a quantam 70 that plays up on the lan in a similar way if you mess with network , otherwise it's happy
  16. Decorator removed or bent something and didn't tell you But this is normal , why ca the alarm guy to remove equipment so you can decorate and pay to put back Other option is get better decoator
  17. You will have to call installer for this bit , get furlough wallet out

  19. In that case go get a job doing 1st fix Or manicure
  20. Blag it with a national?
  21. Dude you need to get a job on first fix , it's not easy I tell ya, then you might get your foot in the door somewhere and self train at home on the panels they use and so on Where ever you apply you will need to see what they install , and learn that panel, if I interviewed you and you had no experience , I probably ask you to prove you can programme the panel atleast in basic to see if you talking blag or not
  22. So he needs to buy all the panels like texe, pyronix enforcer , dimension , self train and prove he can do it
