I suppose if it's all you can have then looks good on the wall with your own background lol But there touch screen sensitivity rubbish , need cleaning often to keep it in place -

Overall it's rubbish Better to install the selfmon virtual keypad -
Get another engineer , plenty about and easy to deal with basic system. If your planning to do it yourself , unlikely you come under competent diyer because this panel with its manual can be done by a competent diyer In anycase get a local engineer will be cheaper

Nice job , I would have smashed it off or crow bar job -
Probably cheap version I seen allot of those now , main issue is combined unit , tap fails you can end up losing the whole thing , the seperate version looks better with same tank

Why not ? Panel - adaptor - mains fused spur All DIY as you said and it's how even adt hook some up Not sure where is plug top is DIY stuff has come from there's plenty out there done by insurance approved companies How come adt do it often then? And others
