  1. But realistically if you know where the controller connections are you can connect to it to open the gate , like if there was a push to exit
  2. If you unregistered all the devices you must have got into installer mode Why not try factory codes now? This forum doesn't allow giving out of default methods and codes and so on
  3. Something i even tell app users , if you disarm in error rearm otherwise don't disarm just cos you get a call or notification, Maybe he means remotely that's what he thinks happens ? Or does the panel have a key switch input? Which triggers via dialler ?
  4. Yes but it still doesn't explain your last comment lol
  5. I read it a few times , don't make sense to me , even asked ai to explain it to me..... Cos you alarm men have your own language lol
  6. https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-equipment-c-36/movement-detectors-c-36_116/all-c-36_116_37/optex-flipx-standard-indoor-pir-sensor-with-rotatable-lens-p-6130.html
  7. Yeah all had the touch screen keypad , replacing battery solved problem in some but not for long
  8. I seen these go nutz , but mostly due to battery needing replacing, brick PSU fried cos op changed it to late? Or more than late?
  9. Unlikely, if weak WiFi it's not impossible, and remember it's a friend of yours, which you don't live with I say that because usually when you ask lots of questions and try and fault find what someone says , it's not always what they originally said, which misleads what the real problem with audio might be, weak WiFi can cause audio loss, and even a device elsewhere could potentially interfere with audio when WiFi weak, possibly it's a coincidence
  10. Probably this
  11. As above But battery can sometimes prematurely die , might be example in a loft where I seen them die quicker , or sometimes boiler room and so on Yes load test , try it But you might be running all wireless aswell?
  12. Overcomplicated lol just saying...... But atleast you got it working
  13. As above , why can't you just connect the existing relay output to a zone? Etc relays probably can be used to activate something else like a light perhaps
  14. But cos I like tea breaks and lunch me will be longer , and would include my Uber eats delivery on the bill and charge two days for the job Thanks will send you invoice in advance
  15. Laptop will take longer lol galaxy RSS is rubbish Within half the day it would be done provided it's not some mad school or busy building you can't fully test depending on how detailed you want to be
  16. I still trying to work this comment in my brain .... ( It's me not you lol )
  17. If you don't unlock it and hand over to next company doesn't prove who locked it right ? You may forget it was locked
  18. You can get parts for it online easily , and it's cheap tat anyway , you can buy new kit £150 ? So how much will you pay for decent alarm that may last you? What you secure your property or what's inside it valuables or people are as good as the price you pay for the security as such
  19. But don't you take on a contract based upon a survey, based upon detection being present, and it complying to the type of service your providing and you then give them a contract based upon this , walk test it service it and means you are saying that it works according to the contract you have given them How can you then say sorry we don't guarantee anything because previous company programmed it , and we are just giving you contract based on nothing ? I must be missing something?
  20. You never had codes in first place then lol.
