Hi I have a Samsung 1673d dvr with a Galaxy 96 alarm system i have setup an intruder output from the galaxy to trigger the dvr which I have then selected 2 cams to email me with pics on alarm but for some reason is no longer sending any pics when in the dvr menu in mailing service it is all setup with my email address and server settings ok but when i do an email test it comes up, Failed to test. Unknown Error. everthing else works fin any suggestions please.

Hi can anyone please help I have just fitted an on line max reader to a galaxy 96 all looks ok, but for a high pitched continuous squeal from the max reader I am retired now (ex Chubb) but I seem to remember you had to park the green wire from the max to -ve but that doesn't shut it up but when grey is parked to -ve all is good does this sound right. many thanks for any help. bj

Hi thanks for your reply I did message James as I could not sort out how to reply to his post after my post but in the backup burn there was a piece of software called ffdshow when installed to the pc and viewed through the software it worked ok you are right it was some sort of codec that needed to be installed to fully view the footage many thanks for your help keep up the good work bj

Hi James thanks for the quick reply I have just been looking for overlay but nothing jumps out at me I am running the backup on a mac but have just burnt it to a stick and run it on a windows pc but it is just the same footage ok but still no time and date if you have no more ideas many thanks for your help anyway bj

Hi can anyone please help I have a Samsung SRD 1673D DVR If I view recorded footage on the DVR it shows the time and date but if burned to a cd-r or DVD+RW footage is ok but there is no time and date I have been through settings on the DVR but can not find any settings for this any help please bj

Thanks for the reply but chime fires the internal speaker, have now sorted it by programming k pad outputs to link a and setting links to ct 1011 source and destination to link a works fine

Hi can anyone pls help I have a galaxy 96 and am trying to get the keypads (2) to beep if ct 1011 programmed as log zone activates, ct 1011 is from a mains relay via a outside light ie if anyone walks on the drive the light lights and the key pads bleep ( not ent ex horn as to loud) I did the sometime back on a gal 60 via links and outputs and I think reprogramming the key pad outputs many thanks
