  1. If you want a really nice keypad you could glue an ipad to your wall and connect it to a Risco panel via the app LOL I shall call him in the morning
  2. Reading is a bit far for us otherwise I would send one of our chaps up to quote. I can ask the Vanderbilt rep who your nearest installer is if you would like.
  3. I didnt mean to do that, I was just saying that the Risco panel is okay. The Seimens would normally be £100/£200 more than what we would charge for a budget system. We normally use these panels on commercial and very large domestics. They are very good quality panels though solidly built. Medium to large domestics we use the HKC again more expensive compared to Risco (Around £100) but better quality.
  4. If you get an installer that knows Risco well, the Risco panel will be fine. Risco is our budget system, and to be fair they did go downhill for some time, and the programming can be unnecessarily complicated if you are not familiar with programing them, but touch wood I havent had any problems with a Risco panel for the last 9 months and the app is one of the best. Our premium systems are HKC and Vanderbuilt (Siemens) and like for the like the Risco app is as good if not better in some ways. The only thing I would say is that the keypad is a bit cheap looking on the Agility.
  5. Crap detectors crap bell crap panel for £150.00 I pay that just for a panel! Mind you I dont have to keep going back to stuff under warranty
  6. Add detection, bell, cable, internal sounder, battery, and VAT and you still wont have much change from £500 though.
  7. I was told that Hik made an offer on Paxton but it was turned down, they are in the market for a UK access Control Co
  8. We can delete your account but I cant think of a good reason as to why you would be worried if we do or dont. You are completely anonymous so nobody knows who you are or where your from. Unless.....you are an employee of Swann and hoped posting here would be a free advert but its back fired. It is well known that products made for the DIY market is generally not as good as the stuff the professionals use. That said I cannot imagine why anyone would entrust their security to a DIY product. If you have something you feel is worth protecting (You obviously do otherwise why are you bothering) so why choose to cut corners? If I am buying something that I have no prior knowledge of, I at least research before I buy.
