With respect Logan unless you are 100% sure that a product is compatible, you should not comment. If that guy had purchased the Honeywell keypad, and then tried to fit it, he would have at the very best scenario a waste of money, worst scenario buggered his panel.
I do the vetting but never log in as vetter its a PITA I have to log out as me then log in as vetting and remember passwords and all that old bullocks, I get the PM via email, it is all under way although it would have been quicker if you had sent James Wilson a stool and urine specimen I can provide address details if its your preferred route, but I warn you now he requires large samples.

I have every respect for him that he is trying to learn off his own back, but the regs are there for a reason (Mainly Safety) and if he is learning how to do stuff then he should find out how to do it properly. Otherwise he will be just like those other idiots out there that saw a picture of a burglar alarm and now think they are an experienced installer. Mains should be segregated from low voltage cables, not just for safety but to stop ac noise getting onto the low voltage circuits. If you dont point these things out how is somebody supposed to learn.
I purchased one of the doorbells when they first came out. It didn't work very well and after a day a fully charged doorbell was down to 37% battery, so I didn't believe their unbelievable two years between charging boast
