  1. Good kit I would say easy to program one of the first with an app, which compared to the others Ive seen is pretty good. The bus wiring is really useful if you have to upgrade a failed id system. Customer love the fact that it talks
  2. You need to post stuff so that we have an idea that you are not a chancer. Read the vetting page again your application would not have been looked at all the while you had made less than 5 posts, you have now made 5 posts but all of them asking for trade access, nothing posted about bout the actual trade you work in. Look at it from our point of view would you let you into a trade area based on the posts you have made?
  3. As far as I am aware you have not applied, in order to do so you need to follow the instructions on the vetting page, so far you have not even made enough posts, and the posts you have made do nothing to prove to us that you even saw a video on you tube about alarms, let alone trade.
  4. How far do you go with it though? I had a customer who put some pir flood lights in after we fitted the CCTV and then complained that the cameras couldnt see at night anymore, when the engineer played back the recordings for night the lights were opposite the camera and just filled the picture. I could add a caveat about lighting but I dont think I will ever come across anyone that stupid again, same with ADSL, but it has happened to me yet, I may add a line that says the quality of remote view is dependant on the speed and quality of your BB service.
  5. Well I must admit that I dont have any statements relating to the speed of ADSL and remote view, but I would have thought that it common sense.Just like no ADSL no remote view But I would show them the CCTV over the LAN to prove that there is nothing wrong with your kit, and tell them that if they had told you that they were still using dialup then you would have explained that it would not work.
  6. Bonjour et bienvenue sur le forum, votre anglais est probablement meilleur que notre français
  7. There was a problem with the 6p where it used to forget the user code, but that was only when it was set
  8. Very sad he wasnt as old as he came across either, much as he and I didnt get on for various reasons, I would not have wished him any bad.
  9. watcha
  10. BS5839 part 1 recommends four service visits per annum, but this can be reduced to a minimum of two visits depending on the risk and size of the system.
  11. When you follow what it says on the post
  12. It was me that banned you and try 7 years ago rather than 15, and its not about a sense of humour its about a sense of removing trolls
  13. Your application will be ignored if you do not comply with the requirements though, just so you know
  14. It has a timer in it it, its law that they dont sound longer it wont be flat
  15. Really? Are you sure the smoke is not on the same mains? It is not the sort of noise that the intruder panel makes.
  16. What happened there? Did you accidentally hit the delete button?
  17. Great news! But just check the battery is charging by removing the mains from the system in a week or so, if the system goes dead again the charging circuit is fooked. If the system remains working then its likely you were lucky. Its better you do this during the day, rather than you find out in the middle of the night if you have a spike in the mains or powercut, your neighbors will be more appreciative
  18. I dont think you be able to, you need an installer account to set it up on the cloud its not a DIY product as far as I am aware
  19. Sorry Alan no such member, there is a member called Woosh though do you still have the email address that this account was set up on?
  20. Actually I just re read your post are you an installer?
