  1. Agreed, it's a 17th edition thing iirc.
  2. Screwfix plus others do stackable plastic boxes, Euro boxes i think they call them, got a few in the garage.
  3. We've used heavy duty plastic/polyprop sheet 10mm for mounting cameras before, it would probably do what you want and can be got by the sheet, but it gets expensive quickly IIRC.
  4. As above, lots of builders do it as the applicants info is made public.
  5. True, despite being "an institution" it was long overdue a change in format. I still bought the mug though: http://www.moretvicar.com/collection/viz-magazine-shop/product/viz-the-top-gear-presenter-of-hearts-mug
  6. These arent the alarm engineers you're looking for.
  7. Caroline something?
  8. I read that too, apparently the X5 copy was hideous but still better than the origional.
  9. No. But I am interested in the tech, heard good things about the level of functionality on the new Apple watch and Im wondering if its enough of a sea change in tech to make them worth investing in. Also, MMC earlier:
  10. lol
  11. This is a forum for technical matters, not legal advise, so my advise: 1 - No you can record audio. If the camera is on your property, viewing your property you can record pretty much what you like. Commercial properties are somewhat different. 2 - Dont know, not familiar with that kit. It looks like jonny 5 has got loose again. 3 - Again, not familiar. 4 - If he gave you a written quote listing audio as being included, then I would have thought sale of goods act to start with.
  12. Im the same, I blame my old man as he instilled his values in me. On holidays as a kid he would be on the phone to the office everyday, and was one of the first people to have a mobile phone outside of the M25 which was a car batt with a motorola handset on top. Matt I think you need a deputy, someone keen who can take the strain a bit. Either that or (not being rude here) but live with the fact that you are someone elses deputy. Learn to delegate. There's no sense at all being as plugged in as you are. Edited to add, Kin QFA.
  13. I like Kensington, so that's where I usually stay. Plus its on the circle line so Kingscross, Kensington, Tower etc all easy to do for a novice like me. And I absolutely dont do buses.
  14. Stay in a posh hotel in Kensington.
  15. DLR goes straight to it, got its own station. I found it alright and Im a public transport novice. Presumably only a problem if you have to go right across London.
  16. I thought all this had stopped when the coalition came in and councils funding dropped?
  17. Have a look at Systemq, they have some decent stuff. IIRC you will need proof of trade to get prices off them. But other than that IME most ready to fit coverts are too easy to spot and you're better off knocking something up yourself.
