  1. Agreed, it's a 17th edition thing iirc.
  2. Screwfix plus others do stackable plastic boxes, Euro boxes i think they call them, got a few in the garage.
  3. We've used heavy duty plastic/polyprop sheet 10mm for mounting cameras before, it would probably do what you want and can be got by the sheet, but it gets expensive quickly IIRC.
  4. As above, lots of builders do it as the applicants info is made public.
  5. True, despite being "an institution" it was long overdue a change in format. I still bought the mug though: http://www.moretvicar.com/collection/viz-magazine-shop/product/viz-the-top-gear-presenter-of-hearts-mug

  11. Now with Pacman!
  12. Job done, pretty painless in the end. Thanks lads.
  13. We've been asked to look at taking over this system, before we decide is anyone here familiar with these panels and they easily takeover-able? Its not a big system, not really worth much hassle over.
  14. Got any more info on that Jim - manufacture dates, etc?
  15. Welcome. And, brace yourself....
  16. I think you make a mistake to use the fire sector as a yardstick for the security industry! As for NSI and building up a business etc Id say you're 20 years too late.
  17. You don't get this **** with wireless.
  18. Thanks, looks like I'll get one ordered.
  19. Choose a reputable local installer and they will be have systems which they support.
  20. Thanks Pete. VDP500 Im particularly interested in the external unit quality - ruggedness, camera picture quality etc, and the monitor quality - no good if its too fragile, wall mount options, etc.
  21. Anyone fitted any of these? Got a small job to do and I like the look of these over a separate 7" monitor, but Id like to gauge opinion on the product before ordering one.
