  1. So you don't disagree they are good?
  2. and yes..
  3. are you 2 mental? 100's and 100's of these and not one problem (maybe 1 out of box failure).. best detector out there, no question.
  4. iWise = bulletproof. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere.
  5. Ta, this was residential.. Not had any problems with WW and Home Hubs to date..
  6. Oddly, we've struggled to commission an IP only WebWay this week over a TalkTalk line (residential).. Commission signal going out but nothing coming back in, ports opened and nothing still. Luckily it was the last straw for customer and now moving to BT.
  7. I can't think of anything worse than an insiders guide on how to do our job which will be available to all and sundry on eBay/down the pub etc.. Why help all the plumbers and car washers steal our business??
  8. screw wireless tat to wall, learn wireless tat on, test wireless tat, get customer to sign. pretty much it?
  9. but how do you do it?
  10. how does the block user thing work?
  11. i don't remember saying that actually, can you direct me to my post where that was said please? yeah, look what you've done!
  12. see, yet again assumptions. you're assuming we have alarms in london aren't you. we do other things than just alarms and they don't require 4 hours onsite.
  13. well you can't be talking about me as i don't have second home anywhere. i never moan about working in london, i'd rather not but a couple of our biggest clients have things there we look after so it's not my choice. work is work regardless of where it is but london is still a dump and generally full of *******.
  14. sometimes you are so full of **** it's unbeliveable. if you care to read the other thread fully, the guy you're talking about is actually heading out on the M4.
  15. i'm from dorset and i still hate london.
  16. i detest london with a passion which is a pain as we there at least once a week. if i go it's because i want to see some very specific things so where it is has no impact on the decision to go or not.
  17. read my post above yours - it might be that it's not kept in sleep mode even when part set.
  18. part set? bedroom? if a detector isn't included in a part set then i guess it would stay asleep and therefore no LED?
  19. I thought they went to sleep when the system is unset (isn't that the point of 2 way?) and therefore shouldn't come on anyway??
  20. Are you for real? Please tell me you don't work in this industry full time?
