Yup I fitted one in a pub! In Rhyl lol! What about an accenta ID?! I fitted two, one is still going. Take 8 zones in iD wiring config, but only use biscuits 1-8

You could run anything through an optima, all sorts of bells hanging off them. I cut my teeth on optima/Accentas

The ultimate could do anything, and could run two lines of iD. The only issue for me was the flakey build quality of the pcb itself. All of our Ultimates have long gone, but as mentioned above still have many K+ nocking about. Any that die or need upgrading go to Texe, either with 60iXD unit, or wireless

we used to fit all the range, logic 4 up to Ultimate. Back in the day the Karizma + was a cracking panel, and we still have lots under maint and comms. Looked after and correctly installed, they were/are very stable. Ultimate, hmmmm not as robust imo.

We lock all tampers out. There is no reason for the customer to be taking lids off pirs/panels, in doing so could interfere with the integrity of the system, no? I've seen decorators refixing pirs on upside down and all sorts. So if this was under maint for insurance purposes, decorator removes sensor refixes it upside down resets the system, then the system fails to perform after a break in, who's the customer calling?? Decorator? -

Anyone use anything that's pir/smoke looking, or one that I can butcher into a spare case? There seems to be a real lack of decent stuff about HIK do a covert, but quite pricey really, as I will need a few Anybody used one??

When policed, we engineer reset, however is this mandatory as I can't find anything in the regs to point to this?

thought there wasn't such a thing? Ie g3 active beam (could be wrong) What about elephant catchers down the Roller shutters? We would normally contact the doors like you have, then have a DT across each one.

Don't use HIK at the mo, we use genie which is ok in the main but a bit limited in its range Been asked for audio recording, I'm pretty sure HIK do IP cams with mics?? If so, what do I need camera wise as its a bloody part number mine field! Wanting 2mp VF domes ideally Also I presume the recorder needs to be audio compatible, again anything I need to make sure the part number has for it to be compatible

TBF, we fit quite a bit of wireless Honeywell and not had many issues, certainly not with RF jamming Maybe we are lucky (touches wood)
