And what happens if you accidentally not knowingly fudge the programming on your alarm, it then doesn't work as intended, who do you blame then?
Why do you need the engineering code if its maintained by somebody else?
they can come back and sort it, i aint getting involved with that, could see all sorts happening, projector dropping when switching on lights and all other types of *****
that'll do me
This place if fully networked, cinema rooms/xbox etc and all the lights are ran through it too. They only want the back lighting on all the smart light switches turning down, probably a simple job, they asked the question on the way out, so i said ill find out.
Anyone know much about it?
Customer has an existing system, wants the light switches backlight dimming down. Looks like its all registered to the dealer, and therefore locked down?
Just want a bit of background before i tell him not interested/cant/dont want to do it
Hot around a dozen now. Had one fail today
Got a few UDL (just not actually used it yet, need a play first)
Half are on SIA with Galaxy2. Seem ok for the price point so far.
Just installed an 88 with about 30 richocet devices, went well, learnt everything in, left the lid off the expander whilst on site all day, security of the mesh was all green, good to go. Been in for over s week with no radio issues so far. Theis was also with external wireless detectors.
When doing it via dhcp then making the dvr static there is normally a reverse option in the router?
Me being a numpty would have thought the router wouldn't hand this out again as its been reserved in its settings?
on most I put it outside the table , but curious about the above?
So here's a senareo recently and a warehouse with a row of sky lights. An ax 70 would have been ideal to mount high up to supplement the detection on ground floor. Couldn't fit any as not graded, is this correct?
I tend to use either or depending on the door.
A classic roller shutter with the lip at the bottom i'll nut/bolt. The new ali type i'll use a self tapper bolt.
also is there such a thing as a graded active beam??
On a few compounds we do, seperate group, keyholder only. Ive even got one running optex rednets on seperate channels per beam. Works well
Bag of **** they are
Saying that I've never had any issues on a home hub but for some reason audio challenge has stopped working on a site I set up at Christmas
I've tried telnet to the audio port that's forwarded along with the others (udp summat or other) and its blocked. Wtf is that all about as it worked whilst commissioning ???
So got a job lined up that needs a wireless bridge to an outbuilding across a road for a IP camera to stream back to the house. Building is no more than 50m line of site. Never used a bridge before but was thinking of using these?

Would this be suitable? What's the set up like? I can get by with IP.... But in no way an expert lol!
so i might have to port forward to one of these. I had a mare with the last one and as such reluctant to have a mare with one again
How big of a job is it to sat swap to a netgear? What do i need to get from the isp? Or will these details be shown in the crappy tecnicolour??
