It doesn't matter where the relay is there will still be current through the switch to trigger the relay. Yes, so they will have there CLR built in so need a 24Vdc or 12Vdc supply to your panel mount. You need to calculate the resistance of the cable you are using and use V = I/R I imagine 1mm 2C flex would be fine with such a small load on 24Vdc.

Would need to be DC for LED unless you want it to flash at 50Hz? What kind of LED, how much current? Then you can work out volt drop.

The camera will most likely be set to 30mph limits. The LA will have thrown some 20 ZONE signs about thinking that will instantly stop little Jimmy from getting run over, possibly due to residential pressure. All 20 MPH ZONE areas must have regular traffic calming measures throughout the stretch of road, build outs, bumps, chicanes etc etc, to indicate it's not national speed limit (i.e. 30 built-up area). This is not to be confused with 20 MPH areas that should have regular repeaters on both sides of the road throughout the section. Reminds me of a women in the local rag a few weeks ago calling for speed humps and 20 MPH on a major A road (built-up 30mph). A youth had stolen a car, lost control at speed, ploughing through her front window at 3 am. She was interviewed and one of the arguments for the speed humps was that cars regularly come round the corner too fast while she is reversing off her drive. She wants her license ripping up if she things it's acceptable to reverse off her drive on to an A road that's unsighted, built up or not. No mention of how speed humps will stop cars being driven recklessly...

I must be looking at a different section of the road, I recall dual carriageway with 2008 images when I looked. Unfortunately, thanks to poor maintenance, poor management and local authorities messing about, it's difficult to look at images of sections of roads to clarify speed. A dual carriageway has a national speed limit of 70mph for cars, I would say 85 percentile speed is at least 60, so no wonder they are raking the tickets in. Breathe, I'd guess 80% of 20MPH limits are unenforceable again, see above. I wouldn't expect speed traps on these roads not cost effective enough. Reducing speed limits has no effect on road safety or average speed on that section, local authorities see it as a cheap fix.

They all support NC, NO and EOL. The 24 was the first panel to have the wiring type option.

Use View Zone Status to check the each zone at the panel with wire links, then take it from there. Are the zones programmed in? I would check the system with the RKP to rule out UDL issues, the config may not have uploaded for example. Premier are solid I wouldn't expect faulty kit, I imagine it's a programming thing. Especially if your not used to them.

Do you know the Premier range at all? I imagine your issue is the zones are the wrong Wiring Type and need to be Normally Closed.

It doesn't look like any NIP I have seen either. It is an offence to not provide information if you are issued with an NIP S173 If it's a company vehicle it is not your responsibility, until you receive an NIP in your name/address. Was it definitely you, plates can be sloten/copied. If your not sure you can request photographic evidence to confirm it was your car/you. Pepipoo is a good place to look for help.

Well for starters I believe it is one way wireless. This means the device (your sensor) transmits a message with the hope it gets there (the panel), it may or may not. I also believed the encryption of the signals was either flawed or none existent on these DIY kits? One way is only suited for very very low risk, many installers refuse to install it at all.

Optima is enough I just realised I missed this in your OP. It's a basic domestic system, most installers will be able to work on that. Battery in the controls needs replacing every 4 years or so, they will probably start there.

Do you know what model system you have?

If it's disarmed it's likely to be a tamper fault, can you get the installer to come and check it over?
