As a rule:- Best Quality possible. Limit the frame rate for your duration.
Anything over 12fps is pointless IMO.
The guide I use is 1-5fps scheduled and 6-12fps motion/alarm (if available), depending on storage time.
Better to have 2 weeks of quality footage than 4 months of useless high fps rubbish.
These require good knowledge of IT and Premier Panels to setup.
Sounds like you have the panel or ComWifi incorrectly programmed.
Best I can offer is start again and follow the manual for the ComWifi word for word, reading several times before starting.
External Dynamic or Fixed IP will not matter if setup correctly.
Well the controls could be moved if it's a wireless system, it depends if every devices is wireless. Should be more to an alarm than sensors.
Wireless phone extension will not work for a number of reasons, wouldn't even bother.
Let us know how it goes with your ADT rep.
Well I wouldn't choose either of the three options.
If there is no hope of cabling the line I would ask if they have a GPRS/GSM monitoring solution suitable for your system.
Failing that you are only left with option 3 or removing the signalling.
1) there is a volume control I think you probably haven't found the right one.
2) Yes 1, 2 or 3
3) Not sure what you mean there but yes probably.
4) You need to use part arm for lower exit tones, this is probably why you are having 1) in the first place. Configure in the Part Arm menu.
You shouldn't feel tied to ACE. If you own the panel a one off charge and you can switch.
The engineers code is a simple way to provide some security to them and there customers but also importantly yourself.
They need to know that only there engineers can program the system, to provide you with the best service possible.
It's the same for most alarm companies if you switched.
A Strobe would flash quickly =>1Hz.
I bet if you work out the cost of Visonic Batteries the separate flasher would pay for itself after a few years.
Better to wire the bell if possible IMO.
So what about when you need to send a faulty panel back, your voiding any warranty when you start hacking at the piezo.
There's expander modules and wireless sounders available look at them just add them to the bill.
They're cheap wireless kits so I wouldn't expect them to have all the features of wired kit built in.
Sounds like the jumper pins are unavailable on that model.
I showing battery fault that would be the control panel battery having low voltage or faulty.
I wouldn't worry about the jumper and find out if the battery is duff.
