  1. If Texe so hard I have no idea why it's popular with the DIYers but whatever.
  2. Oh wait a minute I misread your post, sorry Front Door needs the last attribute called "Guard" enabled.
  3. I heard Mr. H is renting out the DeLorean at a decent rate.
  4. If the seed to make the engineer code is that easy then I wouldn't say it's worth the effort. It's a little bit better to stop someone reading it off the panel to learn all your codes (possible but unlikely) but beyond that it's too easy to share the seed info which ideally shouldn't be known.
  5. You can take all the pictures you want but you will not find a replacement at the wholesalers everything TS series is obsolete. I agree with above who says it's faulty? Possible XY problem?
  6. Good practice but not mandatory. Inspectors may suggest it but again not mandatory. Large companies just end up with lists of codes, as your unlikely to be able to swap every site. Some companies use either POTD or some random engineer code generator from a seed like the customer number, makes it harder remember them all. More importantly stops others having a handful of codes to all your sites.
  7. You could be right, I believed it was part of PD6662, I maybe mistaken? Texecom must have interpreted that a part set banner is allowed?
  8. Can't remember if disabling some EN50131 settings in Global can do it but it's designed to conform to EN50131 OOTB. The part arm banner will display if part armed, signalling will be disabled on part set so will conform. You could clear it or make it the same as the normal banner message if you don't want it.
  9. If they are on the Expander then you have to also assign the expander to A and B in the same way too. Not clear what you want to adjust RE banner message but it's part of the regs that the display doesn't show if an Area is armed
  10. My guess is an Arduino or some other SBC?
  11. May just be a placeholder and the symbols don't represent the password length? Question is does it work.
  12. They need to be in Areas A and B a bit like what you did in Zone Setup but in Keypad and User
  13. Well the DVR is acting like an email client (so Outlook, Thunderbird etc) you don't (usually) need to mess with router settings for outbound traffic. You wouldn't port forward or DMZ a PC to send mail for example. Therefore I imagine your email provider has somehow changed how they accept your DVR's messages, this could be a list of things your password or server is incorrect or some new 2FA feature or a security settings or spam settings blocking a type of client. You'll have to break down the problem to find out where in the chain sending the email fails. Generally I wouldn't ever bother with emails from CCTV as it's unreliable and easy to defeat, more hassle than it's worth for the effort IMO.
  14. Email host rejecting your SMTP requests? Some change at the host end like 2FA?
  15. Keypad and user needs permissions to arm those areas. It's default setup to have separate keypads for separate areas.
  16. Yes exactly and the red light is indicating that it's triggered too.
  17. Find out why... You have a short on a cable or possibly some issue with some equipment.
  18. No voltage on all the PIR's? They are poly fuses one maybe hot.
  19. What model panel? Wired or wireless?
  20. Zone Setup > Select Zone you want > Area Clear the (Area) A and replace with B using 1 and 2 keys. Repeat Areas may not be the best way to achieve what you want. Areas you should consider as separate self contained alarm systems controlled from one panel where as you may want part sets.
  21. Zone Wiring is the menu option. I'd also recommend swapping them out if the PIR's are in decent condition, alternatively replacing the PIR's for something with built in ones if not.
  22. Don't link zones out you program them out. 4k7 is the shunt resistance and 2k2 is the EOL resistance.
  23. Hot is an understatement. Not a good idea to do that. Going to be a pain to replace as it's surface mount.
