  1. Been a while since I programmed a 9x5x, pretty sure default for these is OP1 Bell, OP2 Strobe, OP3 Detector Latch. Who knows what else isn't programmed correctly now it's been defaulted...
  2. All inputs and outputs are programmable. If you cleared the programming then the defaults may not be compatible with the system design OOTB.
  3. You've defaulted everything and whatever is making a noise is now not programmed correctly. Check what's wired in and how it's programmed.
  4. It's not the right type of aluminium for bending clean. Not sure why I would ever need 45 but anything complicated I'd probably consider 20mm.
  5. If your 11, ASCII is were the 1337 kids at.
  6. Either use a proper powered RIO or power it from the panel. If the RIO BUS can't take all the stuff your connecting to it, wire it seperate. 12V power is common for all of the BUS. External sirens are generally wired seperate back to the panel in most instances, the tamper return has to get back to something.
  7. They all need power, it's just were it comes from... Powered would need local mains. Non-powered would be powered from upstream via the BUS (making sure you have capacity for that). So if your reusing the PIR's you need 2x 1K resistors, that looks wired for an SEOL system. TAMP ALARM 0 0 0 0 | | | | | `1K`1K| Bu Wh
  8. Don't think those Zodiac's have internal resistors, but it's not something I fit. You don't have to replace the sensors if they are functional but it would probably be best to do so for relaiblity. Even detection without resistors can be installed with 1/4W resistors but they should always go at the detector end.
  9. Device Manager > Action > Add Legacy Hardware - then follow the wizard?
  10. As above, most devices have resistors built in now for our market. You would follow the detection instructions as to which are for power or zone.
  11. If your system is exempt from needing to register you won't need to contact them, they would write to you if they receive a complaint. ICO wouldn't get involved in site visits etc, that would be police or council. I don't believe you have done anything wrong, I just feel from what you have said your method of application has possibly provoked the situation. Also considering that there are always two sides to these things...
  12. ActiveX has been depreciated for years due to security issues but tat CCTV still keeps coming with it.
  13. Possibly yes. Best thing is to maintain dialogue with with police, council, ICO, solicitors etc.
  14. It seems like you needed to vent... but I wouldn't expect most to read a post of this length. PTZ and audio on domestic is generally a bad idea, people feel overlooked even if you don't use it that way. I have seen situations were councils have sent papers to have cameras removed after/during neighbour disputes, they seem to find allsorts of old legislation to back this up. Can be a loosing battle as they are looking for the quickest way to remove the issue. Fixed camera installations are covered under different rules to doorbells. This doesn't mean you can't breach privacy or DPA with a doorbell tho. Recording audio 24/7 generally creates these issues which is why I wouldn't recommend. I assume your system isn't registered with the ICO? What evidence do they have for branch of privacy? If you are able to hear audio from their property then I would say it's an obvious privacy issue. I think your at the point its time to find a good solicitor if you plan to stay and fight but expect to spend. Mediation would be cheaper but I doubt that it would happen now if you have pressed charges and he is contacting solicitors. Also bear in mind that post you linked is from 2015
  15. Not really played with Orisec much. Could they have dropped support for older panels on there platform for new connections, hence why you keep getting told it's not supported? Explains a local only connection? Is some firewall setup required? Most manufacturers will give installer support on the phone for a while after a product is EOL.
  16. Just consider permanently illuminated external sounders require planning permission, if the decal space is used. I would disable anyway. Make sure the controls are in full working order, charging rates, voltages etc; before only replacing the siren.
  17. NC? the output must be inverted in the panel then.
  18. As I understand it CP25/50 are discontinued.
  19. So it is tat after all... Odd how different the PCB design is for a "clone"
  20. Do those support DP? Haven't seen a comet before. It may "work" then, even if I don't rate Rokonet. Still, everything else stands.
  21. Expensive tat? Never seen them before and there is no image I can find from a quick search of the internals. Doubt they conform to BS EN. No PIR is truly pet "immune", it also relies on the system design being able to take these replacements. Many would recommend the system should be redesigned to perimeter to suit your pets. In some instances they can work, I only rate Bosch for pet friendly. https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-c-36/movement-detectors-c-36_116/all-c-36_116_37/bosch-blue-line-gen2-pet-friendly-passiveinfrared-detector-p-2637.html I'd advise you speak to an installer to look at the system, if you don't want the hassle of false alarms.
  22. What sensors? Sounds incompatible or not for intruder.
  23. You'll take it all apart and it will likely (if working correctly) make noise until you have finished or until the noise pollution timer kicks in. There is no magic disable button or menu that makes it easy to disable, back doors like that could be exploited.
