Replacement panel/keypad recommendations

If want simple then the Honeywell Accenta G4 with LCD keypad could be an option. You can have 4 keypads on it and 8 zones in a cheap £50 kit including a keypad with about £25 for an extra keypad. -
Could it be a bad connection in the kitchen door contact causing a tamper of some kind? if there's a PIR in kitchen too, check that as might be same text Is there anything else in the log past that which could give any other indication? Might be showing the kitchen door contact first but what caused the activation could be an entry before it as you enter that door to stop the alarm

Giving quotations to customers
firemonkey replied to installer_dale's topic in Setting-up Business Queries
Problem with being asked for a breakdown, is either the customer will supply their own equipment (Typical response, I can get it cheaper off eBay.... or use it for a sparky to quote against. -
That really made me laugh

Potentially if you have CCTV, someone will break in and steal the DVR, they then get to take away the DVR with all their own burglary on it along with anything else up for grabs

Master blaster on residential?
firemonkey replied to ElecTech's topic in General Security & Fire Queries
Perhaps he's using it to call all the islanders to the cave to feast as in HG Wells Time Machine -

Master blaster on residential?
firemonkey replied to ElecTech's topic in General Security & Fire Queries
I do love the master blasters.... Though only in large open spaces, wiring one up at home and turning it on makes for a quick unplugging -
I've sent you a direct PM with the address and a screenshot showing I sent it to vetting too
-
As its an Abacus system, it will most likely be a very old PA button, so taking it apart to reset and put back together and then enter your code to reset system.
-
My preference would be grade 3 with the grade 4 monitoring. The security guard could be classed as irrelevant for the alarm as he would just be a user of the system, but would consider external monitoring of a panic button incase of some kind of raid for the guard to use to summon help.

Doing it now Done... Will reply soon as get it come through. I'd use company ID card but its buried under everything in the boot

Sorry but I'm asking to get the e-mail address to send you proof of being an engineer, I'm trying to follow what you want but need a little help from you to let me know the e-mail address to send it to. So I"m not trying to not comply, quite the opposite! I even have my e-mail page open ready to copy the address into If you do not want to accept an e-mail as proof, I'd suggest removing that as an option for being verified?
-
I was hoping the Vetting PM would have replied with an address to send it to
-
I was going to send an e-mail from my company e-mail account if that is acceptable as is from a well known trade account
-
I've sent it over to the Vetting profile, but will drop you a PM in a sec too

Hi everyone, Just realised I haven't introduced myself here, can often be found on the other fire engineers forum but as been working on and off with security in-between fire systems for nearly 12 years now thought I'd be wise to sign up here too. Pending approval but have put in my trade membership application *poke poke* Intruder products work on most: Galaxy, Menvier, and the ancient DA systems Abacus... Access control: PAC (Legacy) and SecureNet, Janus CCTV: Pelco, but not touched one in 8 years Fire: (Well your not interested in that so will move on!) So yeah, I'm Firemonkey.... (Perhaps a FireandSecurityMonkey too)
